No, this is not a Friends reference. Rather, let's talk about conversations and elicitation. Just today I was making vishing calls and had one conversation where an employee shut me down when I asked for a piece of information. I almost ended the call right then and there, awarding her the well-earned win. Instead, I remembered to attempt and pivot, and to test her to the best of my ability. When I commended her on her security awareness, and asked for a different piece of information, she happily provided it. Sometimes, keeping our cool, using our information elicitation techniques, and pivoting can make all the difference in the outcome of a conversation. #Friends #pivot #conversation #elicitation #vishing #socialengineering
