Today, the Court of Appeal in The Hague overturned the District Court of The Hague’s 2021 ruling in the case brought against Shell plc by Milieudefensie, other NGOs and a group of private individuals. In response, Shell plc CEO Wael Sawan said: “We are pleased with the court’s decision, which we believe is the right one for the global energy transition, the Netherlands and our company. Our target to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050 remains at the heart of Shell’s strategy and is transforming our business. This includes continuing our work to halve emissions from our operations by 2030 (on a net basis, baseline year 2016). We are making good progress in our strategy to deliver more value with less emissions.” Read our full statement: https://lnkd.in/ehaR8yZb

not only for you and your company but also for stemming the tide of not involved third parties that try to take over decisionmaking and sanctions from the constitutional gouvernement of the Netherlands There is more at stake than a climate related issue that still has many aspects open for conclusions and that what is more is our parlementary democracy witch is outright thretened by minorities who have somehow succeeded to get enough funding to sabotage the elected votes and gouvernement. Am anxious to see what links exsist with foreigb powers who love to destabilize the west and the western economics. Pure by chance the monorities seem to be left , not from industry and labour origin and against our best economic interests always putting the blame on capitalism. Who said Marxists?
