Happy International Women’s Day!!! This year’s theme for IWD is Inclusion. Inclusion means everyone’s perspective matters, Inclusion means standing up and speaking out for all women, all of the time. We collected videos from the women across our organization answering these three important questions: 1. What does workplace inclusion look like to you? 2. How do you intentionally incorporate inclusion into your life? 3. What woman inspires you? Let’s reflect, enjoy, and learn!

Today is International Women’s Day! On this day, we celebrate the achievements of the women around us and raise awareness about the continued struggles for equality and gender parity. This year’s global theme is “inspiring inclusion.” Inspiring inclusion encourages everyone to recognize the unique perspectives and contributions of women worldwide by challenging stereotypes, breaking down barriers, and creating an environment where all women are respected. Here are some ways we can inspire inclusion in our workplace: - Be an Ally: Support and uplift your female colleagues and help champion their voices. Listen to their experiences and validate their perspectives. - Celebrate Women’s Achievements: One of our values is Do Great Work Together. When one of us succeeds, we all succeed. Recognizing each other’s achievements promotes camaraderie and boosts morale. - Seek Women’s Input: Involve women coworkers in the decision-making processes. Their perspectives are valuable and contribute to well-rounded decisions. - Support Groups at L&P that Champion Women: The Women’s ERG’s mission is to raise the visibility of women, celebrate their unique contributions and perspectives, foster personal and professional development, broaden their support network, build allyship, and influence positive change.

It's Women's History Month! Let's Drive Inclusion & Equality! This March, as we celebrate Women's History Month under the global theme "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion," let's remember that true progress requires action. We can all play a role in creating a more inclusive and equitable environment for women. How can we make a difference? Take action to: • Mentor and sponsor: Empower women at all stages of their careers through guidance and support. • Champion pay equity: Advocate for fair and transparent compensation practices. • Speak up against bias: Challenge stereotypes and discriminatory behavior whenever you encounter them. • Amplify diverse voices: Actively seek out and elevate the voices of colleagues from underrepresented groups. • Build cross-cultural understanding: Participate in events and workshops that celebrate diversity and raise awareness of different cultures and backgrounds. Women's History Month serves as a powerful reminder, and a call to action. Let's turn the power of #WomensHistoryMonth into year-round support and action for women. What actions will YOU take to make a difference? Share your thoughts in the comments below! #WomensHistoryMonth #Equality

We hosted a panel discussion last week entitled 'Inspiring Inclusion' which brought together experts from across the industry to share stories of their own career journeys, and discuss the importance of building inclusive workplaces and attracting a more diverse pool of talent into our industry. Our Chief Commercial Officer, Michael Regan, opened the discussion with four inspirational women - Philippa Hann, Cathi Harrison FPFS, CFP ®️, Heather Hopkins and Jenny Thorpe their experiences and thoughts on how we can improve diversity and inclusion generally and in our industry. Every year the National Women's History Alliance (NWHA) designates a theme for Women’s History Month, and the theme for 2024 is “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.” Conversations around equity, diversity, and inclusion are a critical part of removing barriers to success and advancement in the workplace for marginalized groups. When organizations are intentional in fostering an environment that is inclusive of everyone, are actively welcoming diversity, and are creating equitable opportunities, it ensures equal opportunity for success and advancement in the workplace for all of us. #inforum #seewhatspossible #gettherefaster #womenshistorymonth #equity #diversity #inclusion Alt text: Graphic reads, “Women’s History Month.” Beneath is a calendar reading, “2024 Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.” At the bottom is the Inforum logo with the tagline, “See what’s possible. Get there faster.”

International Women's Day | Friday, March 8 The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. To truly include women means to openly embrace their diversity of race, age, ability, faith, body image, and how they identify. Worldwide, women must be included in all fields of endeavour. When women aren't present, we must ask: "If not, why not?" When women are discriminated against, we must call out poor practice. When the treatment of women is not equitable, we must take action. And we must do this each time, every time. Collectively, let's forge a more inclusive world for women. Read more:

Hello March! As we enter the month of March where we celebrate women, let's consider what #inclusion means to us from a different lens. Like-minded people enjoy each other's company. It provides safety, a sense of belonging and a space to share common interests, thoughts etc. Let's consider those who are not in the 'like-minded' group. Those who join the table yet remain silent. Those who join the table but are afraid of speaking up as they fear rejection. Those who have something valuable to contribute but look and sound different. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is a common and popular topic in the workplace and business yet we still leave people out. Consider this as a moment to reflect on your unconscious biases and beliefs so that we can create platforms where 'like-minded' people include 'all-minded' people! Here's to the month of March - for ALL women. #inclusiveleadership #inclusion #diversityinclusion #diversity
