#WorldMentalHealthDay: Africans for Mental Health (AFMH) in partnership with Sheppard Pratt, is excited to offer a FREE QPR Gatekeeper-Suicide Prevention Training on October 30, 2024, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM EST. 💚 This is part of our Behavioral Health Education Program and Team Conquerors Program.
What is QPR?
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer—three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. This evidence-based training will teach you how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis, how to engage in a meaningful conversation, and how to connect someone to the help they need.

Every day, people experience mental health crises, and early intervention can save lives. Whether you’re a community member, professional, or someone who wants to make a difference, this training will empower you to respond effectively and compassionately.
