Discussing the Partners in Aviation model with Mark Molloy. We covered how it works, the fact that it is for just two owners, who are in the same geographic region, the types of aircraft and plenty of other details about the program. And we also talked about where it fits in relative to fractional providers like NetJets, Flexjet, PlaneSense, Inc. and AirSprint Private Aviation. #fractionalaircraft #fractionaljet #bizav

The size of the cabin does matter. 🛩 Very light jets: Great for short trips with a few passengers. They are cost-effective and can access smaller airports that larger aircraft cannot. 🛩 Turboprops: Excellent for shorter distances and can operate on shorter runways. They are fuel-efficient and have a lower operating cost compared to jets. 🛩 Light jets (entry level): Ideal for regional flights with a small group of passengers. They offer a good balance between speed and operating cost. 🛩 Mid-size cabin: Perfect for longer flights with more passengers. They offer a spacious cabin, better amenities, and can fly longer distances without refueling. So, the best cabin size really depends on the specific requirements of yours #privateaviation #jets #jetsforsale #privatejets
Explore the fascinating world of private aviation, focusing on understanding cabin sizes of jets. 🛩️ We'll delve into the Cessna Citation Mustang, a sleek member of the very light jet category, contrasting it with the spacious interior of the Pilatus PC-12, a standout in the turboprop aircraft class. When we describe our aircraft, the word "safety" immediately comes to mind. However, the phrase "10-9" may not ring a bell for many! It is the safety standard level in aviation at which we will certify our #VoloCity aircraft. It means that the VoloCity can only have one critical failure in a billion flight hours – a prerequisite by EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency to ensure our aircraft is one of the safest modes of transport to currently exist. How safe? Once certified, our VoloCity will be as safe as a commercial airliner. Q: Is the association shifting its focus from helicopters to advanced air mobility (AAM)? A: While VAI is indeed leading the charge in embracing the evolution and expansion of vertical flight into AAM operations, helicopters remain integral to VAI’s identity and mission, just as they are integral to modern life. As VAI, the association’s vision encompasses all facets of vertical aviation, including helicopters, uncrewed rotorcraft, and emerging vertical-capable aircraft. The decision to rebrand to VAI reflects the rapidly evolving nature of the industry, where advancements in technology and innovation are further shaping the possibilities of vertical flight. By broadening our scope to include all vertical-capable aircraft, the association will be better able to address the diverse needs, challenges, and opportunities facing the vertical aviation ecosystem. Our goal is to foster collaboration and synergy among all segments of the vertical aviation industry. Whether it’s helicopters, electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, or future technology, VAI is committed to helping ensure that the expanded vertical aviation ecosystem works together harmoniously to drive growth, innovation, and sustainability—and we invite the entire vertical aviation community to join us in shaping the future of vertical flight. In many ways, 2024 has been a continuation of 2023 for players in the freighter aircraft segment, with soft — but improving — market conditions, slower conversion activity, and tight feedstock and engine supply because of OEM issues in the passenger market. Against that backdrop, Cargo Facts highlights eight executives to watch in the year ahead. These leaders are among those who have not only stood up to challenges but overcome them with demonstrable results. Airbus is a leading proponent of alternative fuel sources for commercial aviation. However, it's not an "all or none" proposition when it comes to powering an aircraft. Airbus is exploring Aircraft hybridization which means different fuel sources can be used for different aspects of the flight process including taxiing, take-off, cruising, and landing. In some instances, this may include two power sources working in tandem. https://ow.ly/vUhn50QAb6x
