Agility and Remote teams Agile was built for onsite teams. Daily stand-ups, pair programming—these tactics worked when proximity was a given. But we no longer live in the same world. Remote work has changed the game. It frees us from the trap of geography, unlocking the best talent globally and letting people design their work around their lives. So, what's the better trade? A local team stuck in traffic, playing the old Agile theater? Or a distributed team of world-class talent, working asynchronously but unable to meet face-to-face? The future is clear. We’ve chosen the latter, and it’s obvious why. The original Agile philosophy never accounted for this kind of freedom. We need to evolve it, strip out the assumptions, and rebuild. The principles matter, not the rituals. We’re in an office-less world now. It’s time to rethink how we build, how we collaborate. There's a new frontier - Rethink Agile. #agile #distributedteams
