Here’s what we’re seeing: → Businesses are successfully acquiring new customers, with first-time shoppers to each Shopify business increasing by 17% since 2023 and 33% since 2022. → Return shoppers grew by 59% over the past two years, signaling strong brand affinity among consumers. → Order volume increased by 49% over three years. The apparel and accessory industry had the highest overall order volume for shops generating more than $1 million in annual GMV. → Most orders are now placed on mobile devices, with mobile purchase volume up 20% since 2023.

I'm curious, what was it like exactly 10 years ago? Just before that I had started my first business on Shopify. Store ~41,000. Very different world we now live in. What a growth journey!

I believe there is one critical to client service that Shopify is not providing ie a way to reach out to the seller. I have had terrible experience with a small time shop based in Bengalaluru that goes by the name https://dreamjewels.in/ who Sent me something completely different from what I ordered but the given phone no is invalid and they are not responding to queries on their website/ insta page. The delivery was via shopify. Am sure others have similar issues with sellers
