Quote from Shopify customer service team . What a load of S #$%. " I reached out to the Billing team on your behalf again and presented to them your business case. They informed me that this feature ( payouts in USD ) that you want is already available to other regions. For Australia, this feature of Shopify Payments has yet to be approved due to some regulatory concerns. Australian banking partners we have only has approved the use of AUD as the payouts currency" How can you only pay out in AUD for an Australian based company when they require USD payments !!! Are you stuck in the middle ages Shopify. Don't use this company.

I would highly suggest to my friends and colleagues to use a different e-commerce solution. The customer support at Shopify is dismal. My domain has been held hostage in a support ticket for more than a week… you can only imagine the damage this causes when you no longer have a website or a working email inbox.
