I spotted this on my rushed trip to the supermarket this morning and had to double-take. Having recently worked hard on reaffirming our values and mission at LB, it caught my eye. What Branston are emphasising well (it caught my attention at least) is that sometimes you don't want something but absolutely need it. At lawbox, that's how we view the old-school way of engaging with your legals, just something you have to have. No-one wants to talk to us lawyers! Our mission is to turn that on its head. To get people to engage with legals because they want to and not just because they need to. A little crazy, yes. But engaging your lawyers early on before you absolutely need them can have so many benefits, not least because we're good listeners and make a pretty good cuppa (or beans on toast.. I guess. If it's lunchtime that is).
