We're excited to announce that we now offer demo appointments for the smartWINDOW at our prototype lab opposite the Landungsbrücken, near the old Elbtunnel. Experience firsthand how our technology seamlessly overlays essential navigational data onto the bridge window, guiding ships safely through maritime traffic. 🛳 Interested in learning more? Send us a DM to schedule your appointment and see the smartWINDOW in action. 🚢 Imagine captaining a ship through bustling maritime traffic, your eyes gliding seamlessly from the horizon to crucial navigational data and back again – all without your gaze leaving the window. This is the game-changing capability of our smartWINDOW, a transparent bridge window designed to overlay essential navigational information directly onto the glass. Navigators can now view their surroundings and instruments simultaneously, maintaining constant situational awareness. 🔭 We've brought this vision to life in our prototype lab at the Port of Hamburg. In our video, you can witness the smartWINDOW in action, showing vessels on Hamburg's bustling waters by day and night. The enhanced night view further illustrates how this technology helps prevent ship accidents, offering an innovative solution to maritime safety and navigation. Whether by day, with ships maneuvering amidst each other, or by night, where vessels are hard to see, the smartWINDOW provides a clear, augmented view of maritime traffic, making the navigational journey as seamless as possible. Join us in exploring a new era of maritime navigation – one where technology and transparency merge to provide safe and efficient journeys for all. #smartWINDOW #MaritimeSafety #InnovationInNavigation

Explore the technological revolution among work class ROVs, driven by the need for sustainability. In Sea Technology magazine's latest issue, Jon Robertson, Managing Director at Saab Seaeye, explores the importance of an electric evolution in the ROV industry and how the eWROV and eManip are paving the way. “The drive towards sustainability is no longer an option but a necessity, as operators recognise that responsible practices not only safeguard the environment but also contribute to operational efficiency, safety and long-term viability in the subsea industry.” Read here: https://bit.ly/3I4ewT0

Nearly one and a half years later, Joel S. Wright (FOL-DA-TANK), Daniel Fitzgerald and I have taken what seemed to have been an impossible objective, and navigated a way to distill it down to an XPRIZE #QualifyingTechnicalSubmission. We're stoked to have met this milestone and our fingers crossed that we'll qualify and move on to the next round! XPRIZE presented the challenge to autonomously detect and suppress a 2m2 wildland fire, within a 1000km2 area within 10 minutes (or less :-)). They've also offered 4 years to develop the solution. When I first read these parameters, I laughed out loud 🤣! I've come to learn, however, that when you start to combine the right people, the right challenges and the right attitude there are potential solutions to problems that many of us have would never have considered if not being presented with the challenge in the first place. I'm inspired by the challenge that XPRIZE has presented and while we may only be trying to pass the test to enter the race, we're excited to be apart of the journey! If you have a hot minute, please follow us at Fibonacci Fire Project and check out our website https://lnkd.in/gR2VBGAj. Cheers to "one more day and a wakeup" before the weekend! #autonomousrobotics #wildlandfire #suppressionsolutions #collaboration #dronetech #AI #softwareengineering #mathematics #STEM
We submitted our XPRIZE Wildfire concept yesterday and are excited to advance to the next round of competition. Learn how our vision will advance autonomous wildfire response technology on our team's website. https://lnkd.in/gKdKJBsm

Have you ever wondered what this object is? 🤔 💡 It's called a "windsock." It's designed to indicate wind direction and relative wind speed. Windsocks are typically placed near runways or helipads. Before accelerating for takeoff, pilots take a quick glance at it to determine the necessary rudder input while taxiing down the runway.✈️
