Stepping Outside My Comfort Zone: A First-Time MUN Delegate! Who says you can't start something new in grad school? Yes, you read that right - I attended my very first MUN conference during my Master's program! While some might chuckle at a "mature" delegate like me (let's be honest, middle schoolers might be doing this!), it was a fantastic experience. Sure, students in bigger cities probably have a head start with MUN, but that shouldn't hold us back, right? In my school days, MUN was a distant concept. College offered glimpses, but I never participated. This time, the opportunity arose, and after a bit of deliberation, I decided to take the plunge. The conference itself? Well, it wasn't perfect, but that's not the point. The key takeaway? I ventured outside my comfort zone and tried something completely new. That's what life's about, isn't it? Embracing new experiences, even if they don't turn out exactly as planned.
