Shreya Krishnan Design Office’s Post

We designed the Centre of Excellence with a focus on inclusivity, sustainability, and the conservation of natural and architectural heritage. The design integrates various buildings, seamlessly connected by the landscape, reflecting the Council's vision. Interiors celebrate light, air, and openness, with courtyards and shaded walkways creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. Locally sourced materials like Sadarahalli granite, laterite, and bamboo bring warmth and texture, while passive design strategies enhance comfort and sustainability. Every space is crafted to inspire creativity, foster collaboration, and embody the ethos of inclusivity and ecological harmony. The green spine is a vibrant, linear space that connects various campus buildings, incorporating shaded walkways, open courtyards, and native plant species. These thoughtfully designed elements not only create a refreshing microclimate but also enhance the aesthetic and functional experience for users, encouraging interaction and collaboration. We’d love to hear from you!
