Plan your content visits Now a days, we often end up spending hours on social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube etc. on a weekly basis. It's absolutely okay to check the content daily however it's not okay that we spend countless minutes and hours into it. This will eventually drain your brain and nothing will come out of this activity. Rather than doing this, plan your content visits in the following ways. - Cumulatively if you are spending more than 1hr now, reduce that time gradually to less than 30, 10 and then 5 mins eventually. - This is not easy but if you limit your visits to the specific content, this can be achieved. - On the other hand, if you scroll through the content mindlessly, you will end up spending more time. - Just do one thing today, whenever you feel to check the content, set a limit for yourself and visit only 5 reels or any other form of content at a time. - Above activity will help you to come out of this temporary temptations. You are already doing more and much.. Think about these aspects.. - After doing a 8-9 hrs job, on an average you get 12 - 14 everyday for; - travelling back to the home - having dinner - spending time with family - for personal chores - others - Yet you manage to do all of the above activities and show-up for the work the next day, this itself is the biggest task that you complete everyday. - You also face everyday challenges, work upon them to overpower and get to the next level. - You also prepare yourself for certain critical incidents that may happen in the near future. - You try to give your best in everything you do. I belive you do.. Hence just think patiently and observe that you are already doing more and much in your personal and professional life and you deserve to have a pat on your back. Competition among the frogs 🐸 Once there was a competition arranged among the frogs to climb the mountain 🏔️ Many frogs started climbing the mountain once the competition started.. All other frogs fall down after climbing some portion of the mountain But there was one who didn't and tried hard to reach the summit. The frogs which fell down, were telling this one frog, don't climb, don't climb, you will also fall down and might get injured He didn't listen to them and finally reached the peak and won the competition 🐸 Later it was found that, the frog who won, was deaf, couldn't hear anything which his friend was telling.. That's why he won the competition, he just focused on climbing the mountain and not on distractions. In a similar manner, we need to leave the noise behind and focus on the essence of our life.. Mother, put only one step forward -- Today while coming to the office, I saw a teenager accompanying his mother. Based on their conversations, I think the mother was going to attend the parents meeting in her son's college. We alighted from the same local train and headed towards the metro station. I think the mother was taking the escalator for the 1st time as she was a little bit conscious in taking them. Here the son came to help and just advised "Maa, aap sirf ek hi step pehle rakho and mera hath pakdo" (Mother, just put only a step forward and hold my hand, don't be conscious.) I was very happy with the way, the son patiently guided his mother in the dense crowd of Mumbai's public transport to overcome the fear of taking the escalator. When Hitler offered a job to Major Dhyan Chand. Sharing an interesting and inspiring anecdote. 🏑The day was August 15, 1936, In the grandstand sat Hitler, confident of Germany winning the match based on the practice match result.. Germany had already sent an invitation to the Indian team for evening dinner with the winning German team but the magic was awaited. 🏑In the 1st half of the match, German goalkeeper and Major Dhyan Chand collided and the keeper's hockey stick stuck in his face and Major had to be carried out. He lost a few teeth but recovered quickly and changed from stud-sole shoes to rubber-soled canvas PT shoes, his normal shoes. 🏑Germany was leading the chart by 1 goal and India was at 0, the game resumed again they were aggressive for some duration. 🏑Later, Dhyan Chand ji, played a magical game and with this hockey stick he fired in 3 quick goals. Hitler left the match midway, the final score was India 8 and Germany 1 During the evening dinner, Hitler wanted to meet Major, he scanned him from top to bottom and said you are the magician behind turning the wheel in Indian teams favour.. How are you now? 🏑Dhyan Chand smiled and replied, I have left a tooth in Germany in today’s match but otherwise I am fine. We are grateful for your fine hospitality. 🏑After getting to know about Majors position of that time in the Indian army, Hitler offered him a post of an Army officer. 🏑Everyone in the room was looking at Dhyan Chand, after he told the translator, “Please tell His Excellency that I am deeply honoured by his generous offer. However humble my rank, I am an Indian and India is my home. I am happy remaining a poor Corporal among my own people.” Hitler nodded his head slightly, looked at him again and moved on to meet other people. ✍️This anecdote tells us the importance of sticking to our own values..come what may..
