As a recruiter, I don't see the need for an ambiguous hiring process. Making candidates click a link to upload a CV and then fill out a long form with the same information is somewhat not ok. Are we testing their patience, interest or typing skills? From my experience, This can prevent applications from talented individuals who might find the process too complicated. I suggest using a targeted form with specific questions to assess fit, rather than replicating details already in the CV. Qualified candidates may not apply due to busy schedules, while less qualified applicants with ample time may flood the form, resulting in disappointing applications. Break it down my dear hiring manager so you can find qualified candidates lol. Though the video is funny😂 , I believe it's crucial to evaluate candidates' patience. This assessment not only reveals their stability but also helps gauge their commitment, a quality some organizations intentionally test to assess candidates' suitability for a corporate environment.  Enduring challenges during the hiring process reflects on how well candidates might handle difficulties in a corporate setting if hired.
