We're excited to announce the launch of Docker Build Cloud, a new product that gives developers time back. DBC provides remote builders, allowing teams to share a common cache (speeding up builds), and has native support for both amd64 and arm64 image building (even more speed-ups!). Best of all, DBC integrates seamlessly into the workflows you're already using (for example, docker compose up will build remotely, pull the images locally, and spin up the container without changing your commands!). We'd love for you to try it! Learn more at our webinar - Docker Build Cloud: Reclaim Your Dev Time with Fast, Multi-Architecture Builds. Register here: https://lnkd.in/g6TFMCpS

I have been using Google Cloud for over a decade now and my go-to for most applications was Google App Engine, ahead of its time. Nowadays, I use or recommend Cloud Run. The question I usually get: "Is like AWS Lambda?" It's not. I think of Cloud Run like this > bring a container and Cloud Run will run and scale it. Does it support your language? Again, if you can put it in a container then yes. Batch Jobs, Web Apps, Backends? Good cases for Cloud Run. And it can scale to zero, a big consideration. Another point is it is built on KNative and easy to leave Cloud Run to and migrate to K8s. #googlecloud Take a peek https://lnkd.in/eQBHb6am

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is streamlining its offerings by deprecating several services, marking a significant shift away from the 'Everything Cloud' approach. This move signals a focus on core, high-impact services like EC2, S3, and DynamoDB, which drive the majority of AWS' revenue. The pruning of niche services like SimSpace Weaver and FinSpace raises questions about the future of specialized cloud solutions. As AWS refines its portfolio, what does this mean for businesses relying on these services? #AWS #CloudComputing #DigitalTransformation #ITStrategy #CloudSimplification https://lnkd.in/g6FNfA2Q
