Crazy world out there 👀 I'm hiring Fresh Graduates, MBA to work with our senior Accountant. Posted a job yesterday, 95% of applicants were... 1- Finance Managers 2- Senior Accountants What's even funny is, my JD's first line stated... that I need a fresh grad! How am I suppose so say this? Guys open your eyes, and read before you apply! People come to me, complaining they don't get a job. Whereas in reality, we business owners don't find the right people... Problem isn't the shortage of opportunities... It's the lack of professional people. People who you can rely on, dedicated, serious resources. Who want to achieve big, and work for more than just money. Anyhow, I've now hired a friend who's an pursuing ACCA. And the position's on hold for now. Send me a connection request, if you want to work with us in near future. We're growing fast, الحمدللہ ACE Accounting #hiring #professionaltalent #cpafirm #freshgrad #bookkeeping

A manager role fell vacant in one of the organizations I working for. It required 8 years of experience, I had only 5. I had the rest of the requirements, and I knew I could perform the role from the look of the roles on the job description. There were like few areas in which in my heart I knew I could learn if given the opportunity. I went on to apply for the job, was invited for the interview and to cut the story short, I was offered the job. 2 years down the road, I was voted best male employee of the year, and the finance department I was leading became the department of the year. You don’t have to fit 100% of the Job descriptions. If you believe you can perform the role, go on and apply. Don't be discouraged by some requirements because some are just desirable and not a must-have. If you are asked a question about your capabilities in the interview, give them your strong points and inform them you can learn the areas you might not have experience in. I lose nothing by trying if I know I can perform. To recruiters, give people a chance even when they don’t meet 100% of the Job description. Experience is only gained on the job. Give that candidate a chance, even if they are fresh from university. Those are my thoughts, I would like to hear about yours in the comment section.
