During Bret Biggart's recent visit to Houston, he recognized three outstanding employees from our Houston office – individuals who not only prioritize people but live our core values every single day. Josh Wolfe, our Regional Operation Manager. When Josh joined us, 180 projects needed inspection, and he tackled them all single-handedly. But, when I asked him about his success and putting people first, he humbly replied, "Honestly, any success I’ve had here is due to my team." Toni Thomas, our Customer Care Manager. I can't emphasize enough the confidence and dedication Toni brings to her role. She was the perfect fit from day one. When asked about her perspective on putting people first, she shared, "First of all, leadership is servitude. So if you're a good leader and serve your people, you serve your customers. And that's how I look at it every day. My people need me, and I need them to be successful." Maricruz Vasquez, our Call Center Director. She beautifully articulated the essence of putting people first, saying, "It's your selflessness and taking yourself out of the equation, really thinking about the other person, and what it is that they're looking for, and they're gaining from it, whether it be an employee coming to you with a problem, and seeking to understand what they're looking for." Each of these incredible individuals embodies putting people first as a natural part of who they are. It's a core value here at Freedom Solar Power because putting people first is where it all begins, and keeping people first is where it will ultimately lead.
