Siemens Gamesa’s Post

A new megaproject for Germany's energy transition! We have completed the installation of the Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind park in Germany. ✔️ Two installation vessels, around 50 service providers and partners and hundreds of technicians were involved to install 249 rotor blades with a length of 97 m, 332 tower segments and 83 nacelles in around 6 months’ time. ✔️All together the 83 SG-11-200 DD generate 913MW of electricity, providing clean and affordable energy for over 900,000 homes. Ørsted's newest offshore wind park is among the largest in the world. It will help a number of large companies to improve their carbon footprint and provide them with a reliable energy supply through a number of corporate power purchase agreements. #WindEnergy #TeamPurple

Wind energy is the least efficient with this inefficient system - you can get twice the electricity by changing the system - renewable energies can be much more efficient by changing the system
