❗️Are you a local pharmacy with technicians quickly needing their certification? ❗️Maybe you are looking to change career paths with a fresh start in a health care setting? ❗️Could you possibly be an established technician who’s interested in climbing the career ladder further, but need the educational piece to do so? Whatever the situation may be, keep reading, because this post is for you! — Gaston College’s Pharmacy Technology Information Sessions begin in March for the program to begin in August! It is never too early to start planning your start to a new career! Sign up here for one of our many information sessions! https://lnkd.in/gH2C6dSH In just 16 short weeks, our students will be fully prepared to sit for the PTCE by mid-December. Our certificate pathway is an in-depth learning and hands on experience of all things PTCE. And the best part is, if our students enjoy their time obtaining their certificate, there’s an opportunity to continue in the program to pursue the Associate Degree in Pharmacy Technology (two year degree, five total semesters). Contact me here or via email at sscalhoun@gaston.edu if you have any questions regarding registration for the program or pharmacy career-related questions. I am happy to discuss all program and pharmacy information with you. We do not have a difficult application process, and we can work together to make it as easy as possible. We have heard the needs of our community and have geared this course schedule accordingly. Our goal is to provide an accomodating and flexible schedule that makes our program available to all. We also pride ourselves in the relationships we have built in our local Gaston and Lincoln County pharmacy community to find job placement for our students immediately upon successful program completion. There are so many opportunities available of all kinds eager to hire my students. We have a newly renovated classroom with brand new equipment to give the most realistic learning experience for pharmacy practice focused in all things hospital, retail, compounding, and everything in between. It is incredibly exciting to see how the opportunities in our classroom have grown, especially as we are approaching year 4 of this new program. We have so many things planned for this new cohort that I am so excited about. Interested? Let’s chat! Go Rhinos!
