These committees serve as pillars for developing risk management frameworks and harnessing tech like #GenAI, while also offering compliance and value creation — crucial features for a financial services institution.   The findings in this article by Sarah Francis showcase just how ahead of the pack FSIs are, with 63% of financial services companies in the S&P 500 holding stand-alone risk committees versus 11% for the S&P 500 as a whole. Only a matter of time until other industries follow suit at a similar clip.

📰 The 12 month critical appraisal of our CRO... I'm incredibly pleased with the results 12 months on! After a comprehensive evaluation of his performance, impact in role, and alignment with strategic goals. Here are my key takeaways: 1️⃣ Risk Management Framework Implementation - Anyone walking past the window has been successfully barked at. 2️⃣ Measurement of Cultural impact - Some time to adjust needed, but always on board for snuggles and face licks. 3️⃣ Stakeholder Feedback - Interesting contributions on Teams meetings providing fascinating insights + ideas 4️⃣ Setting of Future Objectives and Development plans - More rigorous implementation of the 'Cheese tax' initiative. Squirrels + Pigeons to be immediately alerted of his presence. The results from our Chief 'Relaxation' Officer have shown promise over the initial term, however the 2nd year of this engagement will be more telling. P.S I was really enjoying trying to cool off during a hot summers day when this picture was taken.... A very interesting program was on tv too....
