What truly amazed me were the initiatives she's brought into her trust - nothing short of inspiration! 🚀 It's heartening to see a leader who goes above and beyond to make a positive impact in healthcare. 🙌. From the initial discussion, Eilish continued to emphasise her passion for people really focussing on core values as a leader. One thing that made this opportunity even more special was the rarity of CEOs taking time out for networking. As I read this article I couldn't help but remember the first diversity council I sat on, what we focused on and how we defined success. This work has changed tremendously over the last several years. This is a good, quick read on the current state of #DEI. The title of this article is misleading - because the answer is no. (The article, however, is super insightful so please read). I think there are significant but not insurmountable challenges with DEI in healthcare. Healthcare equity is the foundation of our work, and it starts with ensuring an equitable and diverse space for all of us. We simply cannot afford not to do the work!
