BlueSky is growing fast, reaching 1.3 million users and scoring additional funding to fuel its vision for a more decentralized social experience. This platform, built on open protocols, has already captured the curiosity of users looking for alternative ways to connect. For brands, the lesson here is clear: as social ecosystems diversify, there’s real value in understanding emerging platforms and how they can support more direct, meaningful relationships with your audience. If BlueSky keeps growing, it might just become a powerful space for brands to watch—and join. #Bluesky #Strategy #SMM | Eran Nizri itamar gonsherovitz Yonatan Arami

Solid assessment of Bluesky as an emerging sandbox for brands. It's important to note that when brands do decide to make the leap, they have the opportunity to establish their own custom domain. Currently, the default Bluesky user has the handle @ bsky.social - however adding a company (custom) domain is easy and it offers a few distinct advantages: 1. It enhanes your own brand and sets you apart from the everyday BSKY users. 2. It serves as a form of authentication and credibility 3. it avoids name conflicts (which may not be a big threat for many brands but there are plenty of similar names out there.) This is just a few of the advantages.
Bluesky is making waves in the scientific community, capturing attention as a potential alternative to X (formerly Twitter). As interest grows, many are asking: Should I make the leap? We’ve got you covered with a quick explainer breaking down what Bluesky is, why it’s trending, and what it could mean for your brand. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/etF7Q4_M

The move away from X (Twitter) is happening rapidly. Quicker than anyone expected. Where is everyone going? Mostly to Bluesky Social and Threads. I've noticed a nice uptick in SEOs on Bluesky, though not many on the legal marketing side have really made a home there. You can find Gyi Tsakalakis on there. I think even Ron Latz has a profile. Blue Seven Content is there! Link to our profile in the comments. I'm going to put our article about Bluesky in the comments if you're curious about it. If anything, I STRONGLY suggest reserving your name and your firm/business name immediately. Right now. Just go there and do it. We don't get disruptors very often in social media. When we do, it can be hard to figure out if something is a fad or not. Just use your intuition here.

The once-centralized social media landscape is splintering, and a tiny startup called Bluesky is leading the charge: In an era where tech giants like Twitter and Meta monopolized online discourse, a David-versus-Goliath story is unfolding. Bluesky, a fledgling social network with just 20 employees, has skyrocketed to over 19 million users in a matter of weeks. This meteoric rise signals a tectonic shift away from monolithic platforms towards a more decentralized social media landscape. Many flocked to Bluesky seeking refuge from Elon Musk's controversial policies on X
