Our inclusive education project is improving opportunities for people with disabilities in Zambia. Through the project, teachers like Ms Chilongo are trained to teach students with visual impairments and other disabilities alongside their peers. https://lnkd.in/eF-e66Sx

Inclusive Education is a beautiful initiative to be practiced world Wide. Children with disabilities have a right to education and having them together with other children gives them the feeling of belonging. Thank you Sightsavers
Once worked on a similar Project under the same title with Cheshire Homes Society of Zambia in Eastern Province. Very critical interventions and empowering in nature.

2wIn Uganda 🇺🇬 teachers like Rahmah Nantongo was among the first teachers who were trained under the pilot CPD in inclusive education project for primary teachers. I am proud to have led the project design and implementation in 20 pilots primary school. However, what makes me more proud is that, the seed of inclusion planted by Sightsavers is growing rapidly! Trained teachers are the ambassadors even after the end of the project the light is still shinning!
