1. Celebrating Each Other
It was an honor to take my son to support his grandpa at the Lott Trophy Awards Dinner. It was awesome to meet all the finalist and learn more about their greatness both on and off the gridiron.
What makes the award so special is the focus on celebrating the success of the best college defensive players have achieved on the field as well as off. The four core values of the award are Stewardship, character, integrity, and excellence.
These values are not just key to being successful in sports but are indispensable for a thriving business.
Stewardship involves responsible resource management and contributing to the well-being of society, which is increasingly vital in today's complex ownership structures
Character and integrity are the cornerstones of trust and ethical leadership, essential for fostering a positive work culture and long-term success
Furthermore, excellence, coupled with fairness and customer service, is a hallmark of a successful business, contributing to its reputation and impact on the community
By prioritizing these values, businesses can build trust, enhance their reputation, and ultimately achieve sustained success.

The unique pattern and rhythm of the Champions Clap can have a significant emotional impact, heightening the sense of achievement for the champions. It provides a moment of emotional connection between the champions and their supporters.
Overall, the Champions Clap is an important cultural and symbolic gesture that enhances the celebration of success, fosters unity, and contributes to the tradition and emotional richness of competitive events.
Important Note: All these students are Champions who chose to pursue the most tuffest and prestigious course on the universe - Chartered Accountancy (CA). We all applauded at the end of my Orientation Course 2 days session to celebrate the learnings, bondings, fun moments and the take away from the sessions.

➡️ Not every student will be an A student.
➡️ Not every student will place first in the spelling bee.
➡️ Not every student will hit the winning shot in the basketball game.
For those students who are NOT first or the best, are they winners?
𝗢𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲!
Are you teaching them that they are winners?
Well…🤔
Don’t get me wrong, I believe in celebrating and acknowledging students who finish first and who get A’s and who sink the winning shot. I am not proposing that we minimize such accomplishments.
But I also believe that we need to broaden our definition of what it means to be a winner to also mean:
⭐ To do your best
⭐ To believe in yourself
⭐ To be kind to others
⭐ To be kind to yourself
This is not about awarding participation trophies. That's an entirely different discussion. This post is about helping our students view themselves positively for things other than traditional measures of success.
