Stop creating training based on your own skills, habits and talents. Training should be created for a universal trainee with some value and work ethic filter’s. As that trainee evolves into their role you can drop certain “training wheels.” One of those training assists is the sales deck, virtual, in person or even over the phone. The sales deck is a visual representation of your value and the structure of your pitch. I set mine up like this, similar to the script so the cadence is universal. Keep in mind you sales deck should only be used in the presentation section of your pitch, after the qualify. Cover slide (intro) Social proof (previous jobs, testimonials) Good, Better, Best Difference makers (seperator slide) Next steps (2 option close, better or best) 5 to 7 slides tops. Very little sentences and text, more visual cues. It should not be able to stand on its own meaning you it can’t be sent as a virtual business card and facilitate “think about it” or “get back to you.” This is a massive tool for new sales reps and even the experiencedones. I recommend continuing to use it for 6 months to a year, I only came off mine after a year but I still use client work visuals to help the prospect see the finished work. No matter what skill level you think you’re at, this should be a tool in your toolbag, especially if you’ve never used one, just to test your structure and closing rate. Also for certain buying types like detective or fighter. Who uses a deck? Why or why not?

6 months worth of sales training in a nutshell: 1. Have a process that works 2. Prove it to the trainee(actually close deals) 3. Trainee role play 4. Trainee implement 5. Listen to calls and identify gaps 6. Role play again, this time gaps only. 7. Do it again for each part of the sales process(Phone call, in person , offer, negotiation) #makeyourteamwin

Dear connections, Having to finished the Q1 for the year 2024 - 25, My company Ratech Engineers has been doing wonders. Right from getting approved for global project to getting the customer audit approval we have travelled as a family a very long way. A long journey is not about the destination, but it's about the process and path we travel to reach the place we desire. Here are some of our achievement for this Q1 and the point of focus looking forward. ACHIEVEMENTS : 1. Approved by our customer and got the certification of approved supplier, which we genuinely struggled 2 years back. 2. Approved for global sourcing by one of our major customer, we are excited to send our first lot in July 2024. 3. Turnover average for the 1st Quarter is at its company career best. Improved Q1 performance by 12.5% from last year against a target of 10% growth. 4. Developing 3-4 tubular and sub assembly components for various customers in various systems of automobile. Notable improvement is Ratech Engineers is now capable of developing tubular components upto O.D 50 mm and Thickness 3 mm. 5. Added TIG ( Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding into the scope of welding and actively seeking orders for subassembly components. 6. Employee retained from last year to this year stands tall at 93%, which shows the team strength of Ratech, which enables the company to work harder and effectively. 7. Process based communication, operations, machine usage and decision making implemented which ensures no time wastage and precise decision making inside the company. 8. Providing Internships to student of various verticals, Handled Industrial visit for Engineering students, Giving guest lectures and also Signing active MoU with various institutions. VISION FOR Q2 : 1. Sustain and develop minimum 2 components and give the most quality input product to the customer at the right time, at the right cost. 2. To focus on more employee benefit scheme and ensure 100% retentions in the future. 3. Maintaining the turnover at the same average and focus more on stabilising cash flow in the company. 4. Take and develop difficult components from customer, improve the organisation knowledge and invest more on trainings. 5. Road map towards more process based workspace and standardisation of equipments. 6. A stress free environment to work, enjoy and learn. A place where joy is found, the more output we can harvest. Reflecting on few Years of Growth in the Manufacturing Sector – A Remarkable Journey 🚀 Starting my career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) in Production, I had the opportunity to build a solid foundation in manufacturing processes. From there, I transitioned into the role of PDI Inspector in QA-QC, where I gained valuable experience ensuring product quality and standards. These roles were crucial in shaping my understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle. My journey continued as a Production Engineer, in 3rd company where I took on the responsibility for manpower management, OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency), OTD (On-Time Delivery), PPM (Parts Per Million), and production planning. Managing material movement in SAP and overseeing inventory management allowed me to develop strong operational and cost management skills that proved essential throughout my career. As a result of my dedication and hard work, I was promoted within the same organization, a true example of how perseverance is recognized and rewarded. I stepped into the role of Senior NPD Engineer, where I honed my expertise in project management, engineering costing estimation, and SAP BOM, Resource Master, and Item Master management. This phase taught me how to balance technical execution with financial and resource planning to ensure successful product development. Now, as a Technical Sales Engineer, (in 4th organisation) I’m expanding my skill set by diving deep into business communication, helping clients understand complex engineering concepts and providing solutions that align with their business needs. The ability to bridge the gap between technical and commercial aspects of the business has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute, and I’m thankful to be part of an organization that recognized my hard work and promoted me through the ranks.
