Whilst PTSD may seem invisible, the impacts are obvious. Increasing awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by those experiencing PTSD is crucial in developing effective pathways for treatment and a return to functioning. Take the time today to consider what small act we can do to support our loved ones - it may be a simple as listening, providing hope or even acknowledging that some days are more difficult than others. Remind yourself and others that PTSD is manageable, sometimes we just need to be brave enough to understand what resources we need and seek them out.
