# My Journey to Trident as an Intern: *Before Six Months (September 2023) Our teachers often warned us about Trident, saying the job was very stressful and the work culture was not good. They believed we were not ready for this level of exposure. Despite this, I, Amritpal Singh, was determined to join. I regularly visited the HOD’s office, respectfully asking for a chance to go to Trident. My persistence inspired other students to join me. On the morning of December 18, I received an offer letter from Trident. That was a happy day for me. Two key point analysis - #UnderstandingtheDemand: At Trident Group India , fulfilling the responsibilities for which you were hired is paramount. If you don’t deliver results, it’s unreasonable to expect leniency in the industry. #RoleandPosition: If a task is assigned specifically to you, focus on completing it, regardless of how long it takes. Take pride in your unique capabilities. # My Six-Month Internship at Trident: (16 January - 16 July 2024) During my internship, I had the opportunity to learn many things, participate in various activities, and even lead the Bhangra team despite having a broken leg. In February, I broke my left knee ligament while playing football. Funny enough, according to the doctor, it hasn't recovered yet. Despite this challenge, I learned a valuable skill here: Patience, one of the most valuable life skills a person can master. # Knowledge and Exposure: I gained exposure to the world’s largest towel manufacturing plant and completed my project on ensuring zero quality testing failures in finished goods. Under the guidance of @Naveen Jangra sir and @Nooruddin Ansari sir, I worked on my project, focusing on the following: - Checking the roller hardness of every dyeing machine ✅ - Checking equilibrium pH ✅ - Investigating dye migration issues, particularly the grey eclipse shade problem, and found that the ruby dye had high migration, leading to significant shade variations in batches ❌ - Addressing the issue of lead cloth by ensuring consistency in size, GSM, and other properties like absorbency ❌ In addition to this, I acquired SAP (Production and sales) modules working knowledge, engaged in digitalization projects with the HR team. Learned a bit about plant merchandising , thanks to Ashish Malhotra sir , Sahil Mehra sir and @sandeep sharma sir.
