We do not talk as much about our SPRs as we do about our mixers. They are a well proven product line, usually with a very specific use case, and most of our Technikum adventures involve prototyping something with one of our mixers. This time, our customer had some other ideas. Usually, our industrial meat flatteners are used to achieve a nice and uniform thickness of meat cuts, making them easier to handle in the next production steps. Sometimes our customers get creative with this machine: we have used it to flatten cheese patties for uniformity, and lately, Karsten has seen another nice application of our flattener live in action. This customer uses the SPR to handle big blocks of frozen meat that are stuck together due to freezing. To break them, they use our SPR. It’s as easy as putting the block in from one side, letting the flattener do its work, and then collecting everything on the other side. We enjoy such creative solutions because we are used to them with our mixers, which are always custom-made to fit the application of our customers. It’s great to see how a bit of creativity can lead to successful problem-solving. #foodprocessing #madeingermany
