CEO at LinkedIn

The energy across our global LinkedIn offices was incredible during our first-ever Company Kickoff event. Over three days, our leadership team and I shared our FY25 plan, reinforcing our shared vision and mission. It was a moment to align on where we are, where we're headed, and how each of us plays a vital role in our journey. The past few days made one thing clear: our potential to create economic opportunity for every global worker has never been greater. As the job landscape evolves, we're committed to helping our members learn new skills, connect with their community, and find meaningful employment. I'm incredibly proud of our 18,000 employees who unite as #OneLinkedIn every day, driving the future of work for over 1 billion members worldwide. For 21 years, we've adapted alongside the ever-changing world of work, always staying committed to our mission. Together, we'll continue to lead and innovate because we are all in this together.

Could you please help me put in my resume for a job that I would really like to have

I am proud of any individual or organization that promotes social wellbeing for everyone! Things can be tough for anyone out there but there is always a solution that can help! I have struggled for four year’s balancing my budget, finding places to live, and obtaining food to eat. Oftentimes, I find people are lazy and either ignore their duties or simply doing them wrong. The result it that I have become an advocate. The acquisition of knowledge should be a lifelong process and the identification of errors should be addressed and despite my hardships while volunteering at Saint Vincent de Paul’s for four years without pay, I am content to see that my assistance has helped someone out there in need. The point is, no matter what you do, you need to be content with what you do!

It was an incredible event with a very thoughtful approach. Indeed an exciting time at LinkedIn, with amazing opportunities ahead. Sharing the vision with the entire company in an interactive and fun way was fantastic. As a newcomer, experiencing this in my initial weeks not only empowered me to connect my purpose with LinkedIn but also gave me a great feeling of belonging. The company's values were truly demonstrated. #LinkedInLife #walkthetalk

Wow! What a week. Not only did I leave truly inspired and excited about LinkedIn’s future - but my heart is full from connecting with so many amazing colleagues & feeling our unique, incredible culture in everything that happened this week; from the way the whole event came together with collaboration from so many teams & all of the presentations being so informative & entertaining to the special events surrounding CKO - the product fair, the LinkedIn Life fair, the office socials, the team activities, Play InDay (and so much more!) - and of course I can’t forgot the epic global Talent Show finals with 9 acts competing from around the world! So fired up for FY25! 💙✨💙✨💙

Responsibility is my focus. The economics are a good support for a meaningful job. That's where I will be, where I'm needed. What I'll earn is money to buy the things I need. Thanks for all your hard work !!

Congratulations Ryan!! I tell people all the time that it’s so interesting that LinkedIn is technically one of the oldest online platforms, and yet, it seems as though in many ways you are just getting started as a social networking platform as we’ve come to know them. This is my favorite place to spend time online and the opportunities that doing so have afforded me were unimaginable to me when I joined in August 2005 (member 3,499,942!). I’ve been able to build a global network strong enough to launch a consultancy that pays my bills after being laid off in June 2023 and is continuing to grow. I can’t wait til more of the 1 Billion members of LinkedIn realize what they’re missing and start building relationships here like I’ve been able to. I always say: Linkedin is not just a job/recruiting platform Linkedin is not just a social media platform Linkedin is a serendipity manifestation platform It’s cheesy, but so true. Thanks for all that you and the team do! Excited for the future.

Ryan Roslansky Absolutely, sir, you said it perfectly. LinkedIn is incredibly useful and provides people with career opportunities, guidance, and everything they need when it matters most. It's a beacon of hope for many in advancing their careers. Without LinkedIn, job searches, networking, and finding guidance would be much more challenging. However, there are still some areas that can be improved, especially to benefit freshers and job seekers who rely heavily on LinkedIn. Implementing changes in their favor could make a significant difference. If I ever get the chance to speak with you, I would love to discuss some LinkedIn ideas that could enhance the platform further. If you find them valuable, you might consider implementing them.

Ryan Roslansky - maybe even a little to much? I now get floaded with interrupting ads to join pro, which soon will stop me from using LinkedIn like in the past. Here some inspiration: https://sites.lsa.umich.edu/mje/2024/03/19/op-ed-the-negative-effects-of-advertisement-and-the-potential-solution/

Great opportunity! Indeed the company has inspired so many and served as a connecting tool for people, work, academic and social life. Yet every day seem as though it's an unveiling of something new, dynamic and rewarding. Thanks to the entire team for your commitment thus far.

Dear Ryan Roslansky, LinkedIn is an invaluable platform for connecting professionals across industries, and I appreciate the ongoing efforts to improve the user experience. However, I've observed that the current channels for user appeals are difficult to access, and the responses to account-related issues, especially in cases of mistaken judgments, often leave much to be desired. Enhancing these areas could significantly boost user confidence and engagement. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss these concerns in more detail.
