I spent time with one of our clients in Las Vegas recently, working on something that’s often overlooked but makes a huge difference—getting their hardware set up, running, and integrated seamlessly with their Odoo system.   This particular client specializes in commercial flooring and goes above and beyond for their customers with installation training, maintenance tools, and post-installation support. To deliver that level of service, their operations need to run like clockwork, and that’s where we come in.   Hardware setup isn’t just about plugging in a barcode scanner or connecting a printer. It’s about making sure everything works the way it’s supposed to, every time. That means walking the warehouse floor, testing label printers, ensuring the scanners sync perfectly with their Odoo workflows, and, most importantly, showing their team how to get the most out of it all.   At Silverdale, we don’t just deliver systems, we make sure they work in the real world. That’s why onsite visits are so important to us. Being there in person lets us see the small details, the kind you can’t pick up on over Zoom or an email thread. By the time I left, their hardware was up and running, their team was comfortable using it, and we’d ironed out the kinks to make sure their Odoo system and hardware were working together seamlessly.   These visits remind me why we do what we do at Silverdale.
