What I used to think I want from my company: ⏩ Very High Package ⏩ Team Outings ⏩ Perks at office What I actually want from my company ⏩ Work-Life Balance ⏩ Fair Promotion process ⏩ Importance to Mental health & Well-being ⏩ Flexibility to work from home ⏩ Fair compensation (Employees are sometimes badly underpaid) ⏩ Decreased monitoring It is highly important for companies to adapt to changing corporate culture before it’s too late and the attrition rate increases! Though the idea of having a fun company culture might sound interesting, it’s crucial to appreciate its actual worth. While a lively workplace can provide temporary relief and enjoyment, it's crucial to ensure it aligns with your long-term goals and professional development. A cool energetic culture without meaningful opportunities for growth and added-value can feel like nothing more than a short-term diversion and temporary distraction. Remember that it is not always about the perks it’s about how they fit into your entire career journey. #companyculture #careergrowth #professionaldevelopment #longtermgoals

I help organizations and consultants become more agile and effective at "Organizational Whack-a-Mole". A new generation of Change Facilitation tools to get rid of the Elephant Under Your Rug. Contact me to explain.
“The staff comes from different generations, different backgrounds, and since we work remotely, different locations. We have different skills and education. What can we possibly have in common to connect us as a team and spark conversations and connections as fellow human beings?” Hobbies in common Values system Travel Destinations Interest in Technology Common Life Experiences Just to name a few. So, under the premise that we might have much more in common with others than we think, the question now is this: “How can I build connections across my staff/team/department/group?” The answer can be found in the attached video. A group activity that is focused on intentionally building bridges of commonalities and interest among people instead of leaving these commonalities unknown and people disinterested in each other. https://lnkd.in/dhRx5MFa #EmployeeAwareness #TeamBuilding #WorkplaceConnections #HumanConnection #CollaborativeCulture #BuildingTrust #TeamIntegration #WorkplaceCamaraderie #InclusiveTeam #EmployeeEngagement

How to identify a company that supports work-life balance while job hunting? I will start with my favorite one ⬇ 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬: Companies are nothing but their people so reach out to current or former employees via professional networking sites like LinkedIn to inquire about their experiences with work-life balance at the company. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: Look into company reviews on websites like Glassdoor, Indeed, or AmbitionBox to gain insights into the company culture. Pay attention to comments regarding company work-life balance. 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: In today's digital age, companies that are resistant to remote work arrangements may not prioritize work-life balance or trust their employees to manage their time effectively. 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: You can be a morning person or a night owl if a company gives you the flexibility to work on your own time and not stand on your head like a teacher keeping a check on your attendance and log-in hours is a great perk. This makes life so much easier. 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞: A consistently high attrition rate may suggest dissatisfaction among employees, potentially due to issues related to work-life balance or growth-related issues or micro-management. Spending a little time on the internet researching the company before joining can help you save a lot of time and hassle later on. 𝘗𝘚: 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘢𝘵 Pulpkey, The Influencer Marketing Company 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺 100% 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬, 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘳𝘰-𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘶𝘯 :) #jobs #vacancy #worklifebalance #LinkedIn #influencermarketing #Pulpkey

Want to hold onto your young talent? It's easier than you think. Here's how: 1. Make their first day unforgettable: Welcome them with a personalised kit, their name on a desk, maybe even a fun orientation event. 🚀 2. Nurture a friendly atmosphere: Form team-building exercises like a monthly off-site team lunch, or perhaps a shared book club. 🤝 3. Applaud their hard work: Publicly commend them during team meetings, or a personalised ‘thank you’ email from the CEO. They'll feel valued. 🎉 4. Foster diversity: Encourage diverse hiring and promote inclusive holidays/celebrations/events. It invites varied perspectives. 🌈 5. Implement flexibility: Allow remote work, flexible hours, or job-sharing opportunities. It'll help them maintain a healthy work-life balance. 📅 Your job is to make them feel irreplaceable. Invest in their development and make them feel like they're part of the bigger picture. 🧩💪 So, what are your top tips for keeping the young guns on board? What 1 thing we must do before joining a Company? When we are looking for a new job, following are the drivers which helps us to make our decision 1) Offer Package 2) Work Life Balance, 3) Remote work 4) Technology 5)! Product But from my personal experience, I would recommend following should take precedence over above. 1) Management style 2) Job Security For this we should find few existing & ex-employees and take their feedback about these aspects and only then we should make our joining decision. #JobHuntingDigest

Happy people don't move jobs for... ❌ "We offer a great work-life balance" ❌ "We have a great company culture" ❌ "We offer flexible working arrangments" The majority of people who are happy in their existing roles at their company with good career growth, move for financial improvement, BECAUSE... ✅ It allows them to cover the increasing cost of living without cutting back ✅ It allows them to improve their family's financial situation ✅ It allows them to treat their children to nice things ✅ It allows them to go on nicer holidays etc. Remember, everyone wants to work for a great company, but the sole reason they go to work in the first place is to enjoy their life outside of work with the ones they love! If you want to ATTRACT great people, you have to be COMPETITIVE! Would you agree? #attractingtalent #hiring #recruitment
