There's been a lot of focus lately on the use of XR head mounted displays for low cost flight simulators. But the rear crew in helicopters also require intensive training, particularly as they can sometimes be in defacto control of the aircraft in a range of scenarios including aeromedical evacuation, search and rescue, surveillance, door gunner and confined area landings. A great example is the CAE MAVRC™ Trainer (Mission Augmented Virtual Reality/Rear Crew Trainer) which uses an ART motion tracking system to allow the entire crew to train together in the same physical and virtual space, enhancing teamwork and procedural skills and improving mission readiness. #ARTracking #immersiveexperience #opticaltracking #virtualreality https://lnkd.in/eatjavEX
