Illogical Requirement for candidates Had you ever come across job requirement that either not match the job or is impossible to get. Let's start with the examples: 1) Junior Officer : Fresh graduates, 2 years of work experience. 2) Store operator : 10 years of work experience. 3) Technician : Degree holders, CGPA 3.8, Have leadership 4) Learning & Development Manager : Engineer background, Run production before, equipped with HR knowledge 5) Maintenance Technician : Can do reparation for electrical wiring, electronics, road pavement, plumbing, air conditioning, roofing, and pick locking. 6) Auditor : Familiar and hands on experience for minimum 7 ISO/ Certification/ Supplier/ Customer audits, Great in coordination, Decent auditee handling skill, salary offered ( RM2,500) How would you handle a situation where a hiring manager has preferences and requirements for candidates that are nearly impossible to accomplish?] 1) Accept the challenges and dive in head on? 2) Offer your feedback, based on your knowledge and experience, about why the current requirements may be too stringent or unrealistic? 3) Help the hiring manager set more realistic expectations about the available candidate pool and the tradeoff? 4) Invite the hiring manager to engage in a collaborative hiring?
