Here I am on CBC's The Current discussing my The Walrus feature on academic accommodations. Seanna Takacs, Ph.D. offers her take, which I don't entirely agree with. More training for underpaid, exhausted sessionals? Nah, give us more resources and support. Is it really good pedagogy to record your classes and make them available online? Sometimes, but also sometimes not. The magic of a good class discussion is that it happens live, in real time. Students can't think together if they're not actually together. And togetherness, post-pandemic, is more vital than ever. https://lnkd.in/gCvNX9wE

This was an awesome interview! Lots to grapple with in terms of best practice/evidence of impact regarding accommodations. Without a doubt, this situation is absolutely the "outcome of the neoliberal classroom agenda" as stated during the CBC interview. Well done!
