The Wild Haggis (Haggis scoticus) is a creature native to the Scottish Highlands. The Wild Haggis's right and left legs are of different lengths, allowing it to run quickly around the steep mountains and hillsides which make up its natural habitat, but only in one direction. Owing to a process of natural selection, there are therefore two varieties of Wild Haggis, one with longer left legs and the other with longer right legs. The former variety can run clockwise around a mountain while the latter can run anticlockwise. https://lnkd.in/eVXvd9vd

Called 'The Dingo Fence,' it is one of the longest structures in the world, stretching over 5,600 kilometers! When I composed this short snippet, I was using some of the first string libraries I had ever purchased. Played through my midi keyboard with a lot of automation to get those strings sounding like they were played in real life! It's amazing what you can manipulate and play through a midi keyboard now, BUT like I always say, to really stand out, you need those nuances of real players and musicians! This works, it really does, but imagine having a real full orchestra play this, that added level of uniqueness really would stand out above the rest. All this to say, if you are creating an identity for your brand and your using music, if you genuinely wanted to stand out above the rest, why not go the extra mile further!?
A throwback to an old composition, created by one of our founders, Harry Steele! Tell us what you think? We can definitely hear this on a TVC spot for a wildlife programme!?

There's only one creature we'd feature on #WhaleSharkWednesday during #SharkWeek! Despite the misleading moniker, the whale #shark is indeed a shark, NOT a #whale! They are the biggest #fish in the sea, and if you're lucky you might see one in a sanctuary like #FlowerGardenBanks National Marine Sanctuary. Learn more about this gentle giant: https://ow.ly/Fgey50SybcP #WildlifeWednesday
