Have you got the right leadership team in place? As we start to plan for the upswing in the staffing sector, I am having more and more conversations with clients about senior leadership roles. This year alone we have delivered on searches for 1 Non-Exec, 2 Chief Executive Officers, 1 Chief Operating Officer and more than half a dozen Managing Directors and Sales Directors. All within the recruitment, hire, train and deploy and resource augmentation consultancy sectors. We are now at interview stage for a Chief Revenue Officer position for a PE backed business we were retained on just three weeks ago. And it's no surprise that these big positions have come about. Firstly, large staffing companies need to adapt and change. They need strong leadership to sort out the challenges brought on by working from home, a toxic culture, a lacklustre sales team or even the implementation of a new commission scheme. Others are seeking to gain a foothold in new markets both here in the UK and overseas. Some are dealing with succession planning. And others are preparing for their financial event and need to beef up their leadership team ahead of meeting potential investors. It's an exciting time for the staffing sector. Having the gravitas to be able to handle these positions is something not everyone has and we have worked hard on being a safe pair of hands for our clients over nearly 3 decades. So if you are considering making a change or adding to your leadership, I'd be pleased to have a confidential conversation with you and share my insight. _________________________ If you enjoyed this post, please share it with your network and follow me, Simon Gee for my insights and daily content about the staffing sector.
