We got a golden retriever in 2020 during the middle of COVID. Her name's Kona. See Icona. Hi Master, how are you doing today? She's a golden retriever and we looked around for probably a year to find a golden retriever. They were in such high demand. It was 3000 dollars, 4000 dollars, $2500, and a waiting list. You get on the on the list of a breeder and you'd be 15th down the list and you were. There's no guarantee that you would even be able to get a purebred golden retriever because they were in such high demand. Everyone wanted a golden retriever because golden retrievers are a sought after dog there. It's a good product. It's a good breed compared to lots of other different kinds of dogs that people don't want as much. And so because of COVID, the world shut down the pandemic, everyone wanted to get a dog because they're stuck at home and a lot of people wanted to get a golden retriever. So the prices went way up. So we ended up finding somebody that in Roselle that didn't even have the Internet. She had no, obviously she didn't know how to market her breeding thing. And it was like you drive to her house, it's like Little House in the Prairie. There's no like chickens in the back and stuff. And she had 8/8. Puppies coming and we got on the list for that and so I think we got caught up for like 800 bucks because we went off market. But the bottom line is that. The if you're buying a dog, you're going to buy a dog that that you want, right? You're going to buy a dog that you wanted. If we wanted a golden retriever. So we want out of our way to find a golden retriever and we would have maybe paid up to $3000 and waited a year and a half just to get the dog that we wanted. So if you are building your. Business and your product isn't desirable. Your product isn't what people want. Your product isn't in demand. You're going to have to charge bottom of the barrel prices for it. But if you can find something that's in demand or you can package your business in a way or think about your business in a way and present your business in a way where it can be desirable by more people. You can raise your rates, you can raise your value and your perceived value from your consumers. So act like a golden retriever act, you know, build your brand, build your business in a way that is desirable. Others where you can create the demand so you can charge what you want and you can charge really what you're worth. Hopefully that's helpful. Appreciate you. Peace.
