Today marks Day 34 of the challenge and I am excited to dive into the topic of Data Structures i.e. Implementation Priority Queue 🚀 Implementation of Priority Queue (Descending) 🚀 🔍 What is a Priority Queue? A priority queue is a data structure that stores elements along with their associated priorities. Elements are dequeued based on their priority, where higher-priority elements are dequeued before lower-priority ones. ✅ Key Operations: Enqueue: Insert an element with its priority into the priority queue. With a quote inspired by “The Office” - “There’s a lot of beauty in ordinary things. Isn’t that kind of the point?” meet Vikas Padavala, our Software Engineer from Chennai. “With my dad being a bank employee, I’ve had to move around quite a bit. My schooling journey took me from Delhi to Chennai and then to Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, finally completing my education at SRMIST, Kattankulathur, Chennai ,Tamil Nadu. Constantly moving meant leaving friends behind and making new ones, a challenging task before the advent of social media. From a young age, I was captivated by computers, games, and technology, leading me to pursue a B Tech in computer engineering. I secured a placement at TCS, but soon realized I was just a small cog in a large machine, and the learning pace wasn’t fulfilling. Eager to expand my knowledge, I began preparing for my master’s degree, taking the GRE and TOEFL exams. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic downturn, I decided to pivot and seek other learning opportunities. Joining OnlineSales.ai was a game-changer. From day one at Hyperlocal, I found the learning environment I craved. Prasad Borse and I took the initiative to work on DSA (Data Structures and Algorithms) questions, treating them like puzzles to sharpen our skills. When I’m not working, you’ll find me playing online video games or on the tennis court, both passions I’ve held from a young age. Greetings everyone! 🚀 I'm thrilled to share my debut LinkedIn post, diving into the insightful analysis of Wavecon Telecom's performance after the 5G launch. Here are some key takeaways: 📈 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: While some cities saw increases, others experienced declines post-5G launch. Lucknow, Gurgaon, and Patna experienced an increase in revenue, while cities like Delhi and Chennai faced revenue decrease. 📉 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐏𝐈𝐬: ◾Total Active Users dropped by 8.28%, with significant declines in cities like Ahmedabad and Delhi. ◾Total Unsubscribed Users surged by 23.50%, indicating increased disengagement. 💼 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Strong performers like p1 maintained high revenue, while p7 faced a sharp decline, leading to its discontinuation. 💼 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬: Plans p11, p12, and p13 have been introduced to cater to evolving customer needs. 🔍 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬: Plan p7 experienced a staggering decline of approximately 73.2% in revenue post-5G launch, indicating a significant impact. Hyderabad has better engineering talent than Bangalore! According to a dataset of 0.35 million technical interview performances comparing tech talent across 30+ global cities (report by Karat), Hyderabad stands out! Some other observations: 1️⃣ Bangalore has the the highest number of elite software engineers (top quartile performance) worldwide. 2️⃣ India significantly underperforms compared to top cities like Amsterdam, Tokyo, and Seattle, where over 40% of engineers rank in the top quartile. 3️⃣ In India, Hyderabad leads with 27% of engineers in the top quartile, followed by Bangalore at 22%. Mumbai lags at 17%, but still outperforms cities like Dublin and Berlin at 13%. Talent quality in India is rapidly evolving. Tech Mahindra MD and CEO Designate, Mohit Joshi shares his views during a session at IIM Nagpur's 'Zero Mile Samvad' on whether AI will make programming jobs redundant, he said, "AI will certainly make programming easier and will make it more widespread. I don't think it will make it redundant." "It does something truly remarkable. It allows an average programmer to be at the level where the expert was only a short while back. AI allows for a dramatic boost in productivity and at the end of the day, programming is about taking certain business logic and applying it so that you are able to get a certain output," he said, in conversation with Siddharth Zarabi, Managing Editor, Business Today Television. AI will create winners and losers, Joshi said, adding that it will create a lot more winners than losers. "It will overwhelmingly benefit all of us," he stated.
