#Fresh #customs data shows #China's foreign trade kept growing with diverse trading partners last year. Trade with economies involved in the Belt and Road Initiative accounted for 46.6 percent of China's total foreign trade. Trade with the EU and US both took up more than 10%. In 2022, China's annual foreign trade volume exceeded the 40-trillion-yuan mark for the first time. Last year, the country's annual foreign neared 42 (41.76) trillion yuan or some 5.8 (5.82) trillion US dollars. China is expected to remain the world's largest trading nation for the 7th consecutive year. That has laid a foundation for the growth in cross-border settlement services.
