In the game of CRE, it's all about strategy—and sometimes you have to switch from receiver to quarterback. SIORs know how to take the lead in the world of distressed properties. - "When taking the role of the receiver, make sure to get your listing agreement approved by the court and protect yourself, just like how you'd do in any commercial transaction." - "The receivers are a neutral party; they act in the owner's and creditor's best interest." These insights coming directly from the seasoned #CRE professional's playbook, being shared now at #SIORSpring24!

Tracy Kasper, the NAR president, resigned after receiving a blackmail threat related to a "𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫." Anyone else processing this? Now, speculation time. What could be the deal behind the scenes? Some are saying it's a power play, but let's not get into the weeds without facts. How do you think this might impact the real estate industry? Considering NAR's recent legal tussle over inflated commissions and prior scandals, it feels like déjà vu. Will this tarnish the industry's reputation, and how might it influence property managers, brokers, landlords, and renters? 500+ homes built, $200m of construction value added, 2000 lot pipeline | CEO @ INB Homes | We build affordable, quality homes in Central Florida that yield consistent profits
Don’t lose the momentum. When negotiating a deal, and doing due diligence, there’s a risk. You want to be smart, and you want to be very careful, but you don’t want the deal to become stale. There’s an initial excitement on day one, and you have to ensure you don’t run that dry. You need to stay hot. You have to keep the ball rolling at just the right speed. Not too fast, because you need to be very thorough, but quick enough that everyone’s still on point. If you drag things out, you run the risk of the deal turning sour. At a certain point, people will just throw up their hands and think to themselves, why are we doing this anyway? Take your time, but not too much of it! How long does it usually take you to negotiate a deal? #investing #realestate #inbhomes
