So proud of our company, #scoutandcellar, for creating and launching a no-alcohol wine option this New Year! It’s different than anything out there... the alcohol is removed using a very special process, not watered down, and it actually smells and tastes like wine! 88% Zinfandel, 12% Petite Sirah. ZERO sugar and only 20 calories/serving. Alcohol is an important part of the flavor profile of wine just like sugar is an important part of the flavor profile of a real Coke. (Anyone remember the first fake-sugar imitator TaB? What kind of crazy chemical concoction was THAT?) Even a modern day Diet Coke isn’t an exact replica of the full-sugar version, alcohol removed wine isn’t a clone either. BUT, the relaxing ritual, the social sharing experience and the enjoyable sipping have all been preserved with this limited edition Epic Pursuit AR’d wine! Whether Dry January is your thing, you’re just wanting to cut back after the holiday, or, like me, would like to enjoy a guilt-free glass for lunch with some of last night’s yummy leftovers, I’ve got your solution! All the Clean-Crafted Commitment™ of all our products so nothing is compromised. “The first alcohol-removed wine was created in Germany back in 1908. Since then, the category has been dominated by wines that use lots of sugar and artificial flavors instead of good quality wine. That changes with the entrance of Epic Pursuit!” - Jon McDaniel, Director of Product, Education & Subscriptions at Scout & Cellar (also a twice Piedmont knighted Somm, and Food & Wine's 2018 Somm of the Year!) Many thanks to fellow S&C Consultant and WSET 1 earner Marleah Alpers, MBA for capturing this fun little AR’d tasting over the weekend! Excellent comparison to check out! If you’re curious at all, please send me a message. I’d love to introduce you! I'm taking orders! #EpicPursuit #AlcoholRemovedWine #tastethedifference
Mom with an MBA | Online Business Owner | Sales Expert | Leadership Developer | Leadership Mentor | Wine Educator | Pharma Sales
This past weekend, I invited my local team over to blind taste 3 non-alcoholic wines. This video shares the results. Our first batch of Epic Pursuit is limited and I’m taking orders now . . . Just in time for those of us who are doing “dry January”. Or maybe you love wine but are just looking to cut back on consumption. Have you tasted non-alcoholic wine before? Are you ready to try a better tasting option? Let’s talk! #scoutandcellar #smellthecork #wineeducation #productdevelopment

Chocolate Educator and organiser of fine chocolate team events | UK & Worldwide Virtual | East Midlands In-person
First private event of the year - a small 70th birthday party. It’s interesting that before the event the main question is often "what wine can we drink with the chocolate?". I do advise on this if my suggestion of water doesn't go down too well because I know that as soon as we start the tasting no-one will be particularly interested in the wine anymore, they will be totally focused on the chocolate. But I would be interested to hear how other educators deal with the desire for alcohol at a tasting that isn’t specifically a pairing event. Are you strict or accommodating? #chocolatetasting #eventsuccess #eventservices #chocolateeducation #chocolateeducators

What we’ve hinted at for months is finally here. To date Surely has served hundreds of thousands of customers. We have established ourselves as a key player in the N/A space and we’ve learned a lot in the last four years. In conversations with our customers we’ve heard many Surely drinkers express a desire to enjoy the taste and experience of wine while moderating their alcohol intake rather than cutting it out altogether. There are low-alcohol beverage options like seltzers and beers. But if you love wine, there really aren't any true low-alcohol options. So, we created Arlow: the first truly low-alcohol wines. We launch today with a Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, all at 6.5% ABV and the same full-bodied flavor of the full strength versions on the market. Half the alcohol, half the calories, 100% wine. The good news is that Surely isn’t going anywhere, we remain dedicated to the N/A consumer as a leader in that category. This is just one more step toward our mission to make wine for the moderation generation. Learn more at drinkarlow.com and don’t be a stranger at drinksurely.com

Did you know? The term "dry" refers to the level of sweetness in the wine. A "dry" wine contains little to no residual sugar, meaning that all the sugars from the grape juice have been fermented into alcohol by yeast. The absence of residual sugar gives dry wines a lack of sweetness on the palate. 🍷 Conversely, a wine described as "sweet" indicates the presence of noticeable residual sugar, as some of the grape sugars have not been fermented and remain in the finished wine, contributing a sweet taste.🍷 #PepperGreenEstate #SouthernHighlands #AwardWinningWines

Huge thank you to the folks at SommCon Conference & Beverage Expo for their help in getting us registered at the last minute but also inviting us to pour at last night's new product showcase. The response was overwhelming. Last night we felt humbled to be among so many individuals that have accomplished so much in the world of wine - "wine royalty". We aspire to be the team and company that teaches the world that alcohol in wine is a choice not a necessity. That it's really not about the alcohol, it's about the quality of the wine and the individual's choice - "with or without madam?". We don't like the term non-alcoholic wine. Other wines are not named by their alcohol content - "Oh honey, let's go get a 14% Cab tonight" and what BOLLE is bringing to the table is pure wine. Nothing added, no sugars, no flavors, no tea, no herbs. Eventually, restaurants won't have a separate non-alcohol section on their menu, instead each beverage will have a designation next to it with it's alcohol content. See attached from one of our customers - leading the way - clearly shows the alcohol content but BOLLE is listed with the other wines in the category #sommcon #wine #sparklingwine #change
