⚠️ Funding news out of Mexico 🇲🇽 and Kenya 🇰🇪 (one company, two countries)! Endeavor entrepreneurs Alexander Eaton and Camilo Pages, co-founders of Sistema.bio / Sistema Biobolsa, announced late last week an additional US$3.5M in funding. Founded in 2010 (and selected into Endeavor in 2017) Sistema.bio / Sistema Biobolsa enables farmers to use waste products to produce fertilizer and bio gas with a carbon negative, on-site biodigester. In essence, Sistema.bio manufactures and distributes high-quality, affordable biodigesters and biogas appliances that enable farmers to convert waste into renewable energy and organic fertilizer. The additional funding came from Novastar Ventures and will be used to scale their renewable energy solution.
