Back at home after the Open Group NextGen Digital for the Techade Event in Delhi. I enjoyed it a lot and made lots of new friends. The Open Group New Delhi Event & India Awards 2024 was an unparalleled platform uniting government and industry leaders, innovators, and pioneers to delve into the future of digital transformation. This conference underscored the significance of technology standards and their pivotal role in bolstering India’s rapidly growing economy on the global stage. Throughout the conference, various sessions explored a wide range of topics, including: Digital and Enterprise Architecture Sustainability Platforms and Ecosystems Cybersecurity and AI The event provided a unique opportunity to learn and discuss how these topics shape the technological landscape and drive innovation. I was particularly impressed by the depth of the discussions and the quality of the presentations. A pleasant surprise was meeting Steve Nunn, Dr. Pallab Saha,Sharat Sahai Mathur, Abhishek Singh, Talgatbek bektemirov, Santosh Shindhe, MEGA International, Rupal Jain, Arun Sharma, Anil Kuril, Nishith Pathak, Nitin S. , Ramendra Verma, SasiKumar Ganesan, Prasad Unnikrishnan, Vikas Agarwal, Mayurakshi Mitra, Amit Gothecha, Nandini Podaralla, Dr. Aditi Divatia .Manpreet Singh,Satya Kumar G V L, Tarun Gupta, Vijay Kumar . The expertise and insights shared by these leaders were invaluable. On an international note, it was good to meet the team from Taiwan and Meng-chyi Harn. We had the opportunity to share experiences about applying ArchiMate. Ecosystem architecture was something I hadn't noticed as an initiative by the Open Group. Thanks for your presentation and discussions later on, Rahul . We will continue that conversation and explore how ecosystem architecture can be leveraged for better outcomes. In the student competition, Team Uganda had a very impressive project. Such work is rare to see, and it was inspiring to witness the innovative ideas presented by the next generation of tech leaders.
