May, here in the mountains, is "mud season" - it's when the snow is melting and many of the outdoor activities we enjoy are difficult or out of service. It's somewhat of a quagmire if you want to go hiking and very slushy if you want to go skiing (assuming you can find snow). Operating in #Marketo without the proper knowledge or good setup can be a similar experience, which is why getting yourself armed with knowledge to navigate whatever digital nature throws your way is very important. Corporate sustainability is a lot like skiing. It takes courage, years of trial-and-error, and everyone starts on the bunny slopes doing the "pizza". As you challenge yourself to move from beginner to advanced runs, you are going to wipe out occasionally. But you must pick yourself back up. Just like in skiing, as you advance as a sustainability professional, you should always keep a lookout to help those struggling down a hill, giving them a helping hand up if needed. When everyone improves, we all do better.
