Meet Team Orange, meet Sixtine Vignais! Despite the bumpy ride of a global pandemic and the impact on the rental business, when Sixtine joined SIXT as a marketing intern in 2020, she found that being part of an organization that showed high flexibility and reactivity in times of crisis gave her an accelerated learning experience. 📈 Thus making her choose SIXT a couple months afterwards to look over the French market in the country development team. Sixtine has been marketing responsible for the SIXT chauffeur service SIXT ride since August 2023, putting the pieces together between business needs and marketing solutions: 'I value the opportunity I have in my role, to constantly be interacting with various stakeholders representing diverse knowledge backgrounds. And this makes achieving goals exciting and fulfilling.' Thank you for sharing your story, Sixtine! Keep it up for #SIXTride! 🧡 #SIXT #TeamOrange

🚀 "Embarking on a journey of growth and collaboration." 🖊 Today marks a milestone for me as I share the success of two recent #Aftersales #Workshops at smart Europe GmbH. 📆 On the 4th and 5th of December, I proudly led our End-of-the-Year Aftersales Workshop, a testament to the power of collective dedication. The energy was electric, highlighting the strength of teamwork. 👨💼 Fast forward to the 11th and 12th of December, in my role as the Aftersales Project Coordinator Intern, I steered a dynamic cross-departmental gathering. Challenging? Absolutely. Rewarding? Infinitely. In collaboration with my fantastic colleagues, we worked to establish a consolidated cross-departmental cooperation model, charting a course for the future of smart's aftersales business. This journey has been transformative, both professionally and personally. Managing these workshops has been a stepping stone, and I'm excited for what lies ahead. As you can see in the picture, moments like these are captured memories of growth and achievement. Here's to embracing challenges, fostering collaboration, and carving out a path for growth! 🌟 #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerJourney #TeamworkTriumphs

Interns: Rookie Help New 🆚 Used Car: New Car: Pros: ✨ Reliable ✨ Low maintenance cost ✨ Better fuel economy ✨ Easy financing or lease options Cons: ✨ More expensive ✨ High depreciation ✨ High insurance cost Used Car Pros: - ✨ More affordable - ✨ Lower insurance cost - ✨ Less depreciation *Cons:* - ✨ Potential maintenance issues - ✨ Limited financing options - ✨ Less reliable - ✨ Outdated features My Advice: Opt for a new car unless you have significant expertise in evaluating used cars. Even certified used cars can be troublesome and can cost you both time and money, both of which are limited during your intern year.

Passing 100 Days in My New Role ✈️ Now it’s a great moment to pause and reflect as well as to look what comes next. My time so far as a Managing Director of Oscar Bravo has been remarkable. Let me share with you why: 🌟 The Oscars > Diverse & Talented: Working with a young, dynamic, highly skilled and diverse team – average age: 33, nationalities: 11, female quota: 63% - recipe for success > Our mission: We create an environment for digital, creative, innovation-driven intrapreneurs, who are waking up every day to challenge the status quo in digital aviation marketing to serve the travelers needs and hereby drive Lufthansa Group business growth – what an inspiring northstar that drives us as a team 🤝 Collaboration, Networking & Warm Welcoming > Open Doors at Lufthansa Group: The supportive and inclusive atmosphere made my transition from mobility at the ground to the air really smooth > Exceptionally welcoming colleagues who have kindly integrated me into the aviation family – from airlines to Lufthansa Group functions, Lufthansa Consulting, Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar, #zeroG, Lufthansa Innovation Hub, Lufthansa Cargo and many more > Onboarding Journey: Over 30 get-to-know meetings for the Oscars alone! Thanks to my team for the valuable onboarding conversations, which provided me with the necessary personal and substantive depth > Participating at my first Lufthansa Airlines Conference: Being part of a great team plus experiencing and shaping the strategy firsthand 🚛 Transition from Mobility at the Ground to the Air: > Never Stop Learning: Fascinating transition from the automotive to the aviation industry opens up entirely new perspectives and opportunities for me, along with many exciting new insights across the whole aviation group > Life of a Frequent Flyer: Numerous business trips have deepened my understanding of the industry and the Lufthansa Group's operations > Learning a New Language: Navigating the world of airline abbreviations and codes plus specific airline KPIs likes RASK, CASK etc. > Jump Seat Experiences: Unforgettable in-flight operational insights from the jump seat > Friendly Faces Everywhere: 🛫 Ground & Cabin Crew 🔍 The next steps are to refine Oscar Bravo`s identity and USP in digital marketing to strengthen our position within the Lufthansa Group together with our stakeholders. To me it is crucial to combine the best of both worlds: Appreciating and nurturing our fast paced “startup” like culture with the power and scale of the group. #100days #OnboardingExperience #NewBeginnings

I mentioned it before ... I am not a spring chicken anymore :) So I started wondering what the typical career path of the young professionals of today looks like? Are there significant differences ? My choice was very clear from the start. Starting my professional journey, I was looking for something that is not just a workplace. I wanted a gateway to a world of learning, growth, and global exploration. So ... Why consider a career with a global giant like I did ? 1. **Diverse Experiences**: Imagine working in different countries, immersed in new cultures, tackling unique challenges. That’s the kind of career diversity that accelerates professional growth and personal development. 2. **Innovation at Your Fingertips**: Being part of a global leader means you’re at the forefront of industry innovation. Whether it’s sustainability, cutting-edge technology, or new business models, you’re part of the change that shapes the future. 3. **Learning from the Best**: You’ll find yourself among seasoned professionals from around the globe. This network is not just your team; it’s your personal board of mentors, offering insights you can’t find in textbooks. 4. **A Platform for Global Impact**: Your work doesn’t just contribute to local projects but has a global footprint. The impact of what you do resonates across borders, contributing to a larger purpose. 5. **Career Flexibility**: The beauty of large organisations lies in their diverse range of roles and departments. Your career can evolve in numerous directions – from engineering to marketing, from finance to sustainability. For young professionals eager to embrace the world, companies like - in my case, the Volvo Group - are more than just employers – they are launchpads for a career that knows no boundaries. Are you considering a career with an international group? Or have you already embarked on this journey? Share your aspirations, experiences, or questions below. Let’s inspire and guide each other in this global career adventure! (ps : some business cards are missing ... to be updated soon :) ) #volvogroup #renaulttrucks #udtrucks

🌟 1 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧… I had my first JustPlay anniversary at the start of June and I really feel like sharing more about the last 12 months. Honestly, when I said yes to the role back in February 2023, it was a totally emotional decision. I had no idea what I was getting myself into (and many friends jumped in to warn me that everything looked too good to be true 😅), but something in my gut told me to go for it. After a short 2-month break, I was ready to dive into this small, non-descriptive startup in the hyper-casual gaming industry – a completely new industry for me. Already on my first day I was invited to a welcome dinner that went well past my bedtime (not such a big achievement, given that I go to bed at 9pm these days), that should have been a spoiler alert for what was to come. What followed were countless team lunches (I still feel nostalgic when I look back at the time when we could all fit on the balcony at lunch in our old office), and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of building a team for an already successful product. Looking back on this year, it's been full of highlights: launching our JP Talks (a personal highlight for me every month, as everyone that has worked with me knows that I love this kind of meeting, but is also an opportunity for all of our JustPlayers to come together), organising our first offsite in Abu Dhabi as a one-women show (this deserves its own post!), moving offices, implementing new processes, adding local and global employee benefits, and welcoming many (many!) new JustPlayers to the team. Just like that first dinner, I still have so much fun in my job - with our remote global team and our local one. Trusting my gut and making that emotional decision turned out so much better than I could have ever expected. I get to spend time working with (what I dare say) is probably one of the most dedicated team out there. Here’s to another amazing year!

Making circular products ♻️ to solve your acoustic problems | Founder of Re-sound.be | spreker over de circulaire en sociale economie.
It's the time of year again for corny appreciation posts, so here is mine. 2023 was an extraordinary year filled with ups and downs, growth, and impactful experiences! Can't wait to see what next year will bring. 🚀 I got my first few experiences as a speaker at events such as Turbo Brugge, Voka Oost-Vlaanderen Breakfast Club's "What's New in Sustainability," and the StartAtK Kickoff in Kortrijk, engaging in meaningful dialogues and sharing insights. I've reached the final rounds, and in some instances, the finals of competitions like The Future 10, Gentrepreneur Awards, Het Product Made in Oost-Vlaanderen Award, "belofte van het jaar" at Stad Sint-Niklaas and StudentStartups Europe @ Work Smarter getting a lot of recognition for the hard work of the last few years. These achievements aside, I had the privilege of being part of the sustainability review committee of Arteveldehogeschool and contributing insights to incorporate sustainability practices into the "Ondernemersgids" of VLAIO. Great to see real commitment to sustainability at institutional and industry levels like this. As we celebrate these achievements, I have to admit there are no ups like this without some downs. From tempering the ambitions and targets to combining this growth with still being in school (and all the difficulties involved). These achievements are a real driving force to keep on going and to make Re-sound bigger and better every day. None of this would have been possible without the help, guidance, and understanding of everyone involved. To top off this fantastic year, in the last few months I got the opportunity - I chose this word specifically- to perform my graduate internship at Polestar Belgium, going from a fan of the brand to working on this incredible brand. Finetuning my marketing skills and getting to know all about the automotive industry without abandoning my enduring sustainable mindset. Here's to an incredible year! 🚀 Let's carry this momentum into the coming year, pushing boundaries and striving for more silent, productive office spaces together. Thank you to each person who has been a part of this incredible journey! 🙌 And of course, I wish everyone my best wishes for the new year! #Achievements #Innovation #Sustainability #Collaboration #Gratitude

Lessons learned as I reflect back on my one year anniversary at Navistar Inc 💡 Goals are good if you want to win once. Systems are best if you want to win repeatedly. Although goals are essential and necessary for clarity and getting us started, they won't solve lingering pain points or bridge gaps. Focusing on developing/improving systems and processes is the secret sauce to long-term success. Ultimately, we don't rise to the level of our goals. We fall to the level of our systems. 💡Don't worry about changing people's mindset. Focus on changing the mechanics within the system and by default it will yield the desired outcomes. This is particularly relevant for #Diversity, #Equity, #Inclusion, and #Belonging initiatives post the Supreme Court's repeal of Affirmative Action. DEI isn't a marketing stunt. DEI isn't a handout, DEI isn't about lowering standards. DEI is about embracing, unifying and leveraging our diversity to perform at the highest levels of creativity and innovation while in a welcoming and inclusive environment where EVERYONE can thrive and be their authentic self. 💡 No one succeeds alone. Giving credit to others doesn't undermine you. It's actually a sign of your confidence and humility. Transitioning from tackling projects to shaping strategic priorities. It's been an incredible journey from intern to full-time employee! Photo credit: Camarri Lane #RidewithNavistar #DEI

On 25th September, I celebrated my 25th birthday and half a year ticked off with THG! 6 months at THG...a milestone that has flown by but feels like I have been here forever. Never the less, it’s caused me to reflect and look back at what an experince it has been and what it has taught me. I've met so many great people, learnt so much myself and the business in the process. If there is one thing THG has brought to my life it’s trust. Trusting your team around you and using your initiative to get the things done is a key takeaway from the first 6 with THG ✍️ This post was a step in a new direction for me, after working in the music industry for many years I was welcomed into the wonderful world of beauty and E-Commerce and I can safely say that I don't plan on moving any time soon, Without a doubt, I can definitely say that the past 6-months has been a huge learning curve (in the best way possible!) Throwing myself into a completely new world and any project with an open mind a creative head and a will-power to push through any challenges that arose. Over the last few month's I've had the pleasure of working closely with so many highly talented and experienced colleagues across the business. Supporting the SLT, Events, HR and Facilities teams has been such an important factor of my role while I continue to progress my own skill set. Every challenge is an opportunity to gain more insight in how we can improve as individuals, a team and most importantly as a business. Some advice that stuck with me this year: - Be and do more than your role - Chat to people within the business, who you wouldn't usually cross paths with - Don't be afraid to ask questions or feel like the least smartest person in the room - Be bold and get involved - No job is to big or small When taking on a new role, it’s important to look back and see how much has changed, how hard you have worked and how far you have come. * your hard is someone else’s easy & your hard today is easy tomorrow* I am now ready to step into the next half with a sharper tool kit and bigger goals and I am eager to take on new projects in Q4, learn even more, to make mistakes. But most of all of continue the long journey of becoming the best version of myself! ☁️ I am extremely grateful to work with such strong teams across all arms of the business - they are truly incredible. Heres to the next 6, and many more to come.
