Who doesn't love balloons? Here's a simple breakdown of a recent clip that made its way onto the 25 foot video wall. I've been trying to dial in the reflections which in turn really boost the photo realism and increase detail. Slowly building out the physical environment surrounding the wall has been fun. Even though it doesn't make its way into the scene for the wall, it makes a big difference for reflections and overall lighting. The rare moment a emergency vehicle passes during a night shoot. Knowing this was coming, I slowed the shutter to create light streaks. Using the flash to freeze frame the couple worked perfectly. Not hard to create but not easy either. Knowledge of balancing flash and ambient is important as well as shutter speeds.
