Can I eat this food or not? Does it have ingredients I'm allergic to? How can I make this more nutritious or vegan or keto-free? Does this recipe conform to diabetes guidelines? My colleague, Adams Berzins and I had the pleasure of speaking at the ISOT Conference earlier this week in Reykjavik, Iceland. During our presentation, we discussed the link between the overconsumption of sugar and health issues, which is prompting interest in low- and no-calorie sweeteners. We then delved into how we at Ingredion Incorporated are leveraging AI to customize sweetener formulations by analyzing ingredients, sensory data, and consumer preferences. Interested in learning more about novel sweetener combinations tailored to specific consumer segments, while promoting healthier innovations? Let’s talk! #SugarReduction #Innovation #AI
