New TikTok Shop shipping subsidy update! You need two things to qualify: - Order value on the customer side needs to be over $30 - You shouldn't be charging more than $7.99 for your shipping. Make sure to change this in "Shipping Templates" But eligibility criteria for your shop must be • Average shipping time <=144hrs • DNR (Delivery Not Received Rate)<=3% • Completed Delivered Orders >= 100 • Store registration for more than 30 days (Only for stores registered after January 24, 2024) #tiktokshop #tiktok #tiktokmarketing #ecommerce #amazon

TikTok aims to 10x its Shop U.S. revenue to $17.5B in 2024, as it 4x merchant fees to 8% Merchant fee increase is gradual: 2% now, 6% in April, and 8% in July for most categories, vs. Amazon's 15% also for most categories. Amazon charges 5% for clothes <$15, meaning it can still be cheaper than TikTok Shop. Global revenue is already at ~$20B. Latin America launch in the coming months.

Trust is built on consistency and sincerity. I despise brands that lie, cheat or misrepresent their true intentions. Yesterday, during the "Big Game" there was an ad for Door Dash, where someone could win everything that was advertised during the game. At first glance this seemed fun and exciting. But then, when the "promo code" came on, it was ridiculously long...so much so, I'm sure it was meant to be humorous...but things like this bother me and here's why... 1) Promotions leading up to this were fun and exciting and the content was engaging...A WIN! 2) During the big game, people were waiting for this ad, knowing they could enter to win...ANOTHER WIN! 3) Then, when the ad came up, people watched, waited and then laughed at how ridiculously long the promo code was...WELL, NOW I CAN'T EVEN ENTER...A LOSS! This approach, although memorable, causes people to "pause" when they think of DoorDash now...Instead of a positive experience and a chance to win, non-users and users alike, now take a moment and remember the ad where they were excited and then reminded that there was no way they could enter and win...why would someone choose DoorDash now? When instead they can choose Uber, or Postmates, or Grubhub...all of which didn't mislead the viewers. In my opinion, shame on the big Agency Behind This...another example of why people have trouble trusting brands! Amazon is connecting with TikTok Shop for a reason... They take on Fulfillment too and it's not much worse than FBA For sellers it may be even better, it's only the buyers that get it a bit slower. How long does TikTok Shipping take? 1-3 Business Days is the fastest option, but it's getting better. They also offer Co-Funded shipping, which makes shipping for the sellers easier. TikTok shop is also still good for dropshippers too, but it won't be a cheap ride. TikTok payments take up to 2 weeks to cashout, if running on a sole account. Which is not a very low up front investment model, as it may be portrayed online. How Heetch, a competitor to Uber used Uber's platform to increase their reach with $0 media budget. Part of 75 day challenge post #1 : Paris-based ride-hailing app Heetch has low awareness in a market dominated by Uber. Uber is major player in Paris. How Heetch increased their brand presence with $0 media budget. Well they leveraged their competitors platform Uber eats to deliver Heetchs ads. Isn't it interesting ? How they did it ? ‘We too are hungry, but not for our drivers’ money’, ‘We won’t make you change your favourite meal. Just your ride-hailing app’, and ‘Your pizzeria pays its taxes in France. Why not your ride-hailing app?’. These were printed on the food packaging pieces and they were distributed to top restaurants which uses Uber Eats to deliver their food and suggesting them to pack food in them . That's it . When customers orders from these restaurants they will receive their food packed in Heetch's packaging. How brilliant that move was. Results : The campaign led to a 23% increase in brand preference, an 8% increase in ‘intent to try’ and 7.8 million media impressions with €0 media invested. Watch the video.
