Recently participated in the Devsprint Hackathon conducted by the nss Red-Cross wing at VVCE. Was an amazing 24hrs filled with intensive coding. lots of ups and downs faced during the competition but at the end was able to create a decent website for the required solution. A prototype website, BotHire was created to facilitate the hiring in both private and public sectors. We successfully made a user-friendly interface for all people with specific subscriptions to ensure better opportunities in hiring. A specific examination method was created by BotHire was created called BotEval that evaluates the graduates based on Aptitude skills. The main outcomes of this hackathon: 1. Better implementation of the logic used is needed. 2. Facility for rural people to enroll to ensure job-hiring. 3. transparency between the hiring forum and the mediating website was to be achieved. 4. Skillset specific examinations was to be added other than BotEval aptitude examination. It was a great experience this time, but hoping to improve in the next hackathon. 👍

It was a great experience working with my team, Tres Developers. Since it was my first hackathon, I learned a lot of new things. We worked on a project for Sip N Play Cafe, creating a dynamic and user-friendly board game cafe website. This experience allowed me to hone my skills in HTML, CSS. Looking forward to continue participating in such Hackathons and keep developing my skills. #codedex #Hackathon #newlearnings #Webdevelopment

A Day Full of Surprises: Our Hackathon Journey A long day full of unexpected twists and turns came to an end. We decided to register for the hackathon with a "nothing to lose" mentality, armed with our limited knowledge, experience, and background. Our journey with MarCha began with us missing the first 24 hours of the 72-hour hackathon... At that point, VAB and I thought, "Let's just do our best, there's no way we can make it in time to submit." However, TA remained optimistic, saying, "We'll make it, don't worry." And so, we raced against time to learn and create an IMC Plan for a startup product, about which our collective knowledge amounted to almost zero. To make matters more challenging, we couldn't work together in person, so we spent most of the day glued to our computers, brainstorming, discussing, and creating slides. We pulled two all-nighters, working until 3 am to break the case. Our minds were running on fumes at times, and our spirits were low, but we were determined to persevere. In the end, we completed the IMC Plan an hour before the deadline, just in time for a quick debate on the color scheme for our first slide. As we clicked the "submit" button, a wave of relief washed over us. Our minds were at ease, knowing that we had given it our all. For the entire week that followed, we didn't dare to hope for a result. Then, while taking an IELTS test at the center, I received a message from VAB: we were on top, in our very first hackathon. We were overwhelmed with surprise and joy, unable to believe our luck. We had done it! TA was right. This small achievement filled us with pride and boosted our self-confidence and belief in our team. ✨

Participating in the Codédex Summer Hackathon was an incredible experience! 🖥️🚀 I had the opportunity to tackle challenging problems and create innovative solutions. For my project, I worked on an Olympic Prediction website, blending web development and data science to create a dynamic and user-friendly platform. This experience allowed me to deepen my skills in frontend, as well as hone my backend development and data analysis abilities. Working solo on this project was both challenging and rewarding. I'm proud of what I accomplished and grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow. Looking forward to applying these newfound insights in my future projects.
