Well said sir. Housing is the foundation of stability. There is something profoundly human about the need for a safe, stable place to call home. Housing isn’t just about having a roof over your head—it’s about creating a space where families can thrive, children can grow, and communities can flourish. A home provides more than shelter; it offers security, dignity, and a foundation for building a better life. When we strengthen access to quality, affordable housing, we aren’t just helping individuals—we’re empowering entire communities. This belief is what drives my passion for the work I do every day. Whether we’re helping develop housing, restoring communities, or providing deconstruction for materials resale, I know that we are contributing to something far greater than just the structures we work on. We are helping to create opportunities for stability, growth, and hope. Housing is more than a need—it’s a right. And it’s a cause we all care deeply about. Together, let’s build a future where every person can experience the safety and security that a stable home provides. #HousingMatters #CommunityDevelopment #AffordableHousing #Stability #MakingADifference #capefearhabitatforhumanity

In the realm of community development, the spotlight often shines on the design of the structures and state-of-the-art amenities. But beneath these tangible assets lies the uncelebrated - yet crucial - groundwork that propels a neighborhood towards success: roads and infrastructure. 🏗️ The network of pavements we casually stroll on and the intricate utility systems that power our homes are seldom acknowledged for their integral role in community living. However, these components are the lifelines that ensure the seamless operation of any residential hub. 🏘️ Navigating the complexities of city, county, and state requirements is no small feat. It calls for expertise and foresight only a seasoned advisor can furnish. Ensuring thorough planning and execution in these foundational areas is key for any community development project. 🛤️ Together, we can lay the groundwork for tomorrow's communities — where every detail is accounted for, no matter how deep it's burrowed underground. #CommunityDevelopment #Infrastructure #RealEstate #UrbanPlanning #ConstructionExcellence

Is a Cancelled Project Always a Setback? Unexpected changes can sometimes pave the path for new opportunities. In Hamilton, the ambitious plan to transform the Barton-Tiffany lands into a groundbreaking film production hub has been shelved. While the reasons include high interest rates and a sluggish film market, this is not just a tale of a project that didn’t materialize. This shift opens up a chance to reassess and innovate. The temporary use of the land for an outdoor shelter is a testament to the community’s ability to adapt and prioritize needs. It’s a moment for real estate stakeholders to think creatively about sustainable development and community engagement. How do you see such project pivots impacting community planning and real estate development in your area? #RealEstateDevelopment #CommunityEngagement

"Building Together" is what Groundworks is all about. At Dry-Pro, we are committed to ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care and support. Our dedication doesn't stop there. When I joined the Groundworks tribe, I was drawn to an organization that truly cared about its clients and the community. Two things influenced my decision to align myself with Dry-Pro. The first was our company culture of Changing Lives. The second was Goodworks and our dedication to making a difference. In both scenarios, "We Change Lives" is about putting others first and genuinely caring for others. Changing Lives is paramount to me. With our family of companies, there is alignment at our core. Our core values of giving our most precious commodity, our time, and developing leaders to create impact, and our mission of going the extra mile for our clients make the "Difference." I love my company, my team, our culture, our vision, and my future. #groundworks #livewithimpact #wechangelives #drypro @dryprospecialist
We're proud to support Habitat for Humanity for the third consecutive year. ❤️ As part of our #BuildTogether initiative, all Groundworks employees have the opportunity to volunteer at 55 home builds throughout the country. We're grateful for the chance to be part of something so impactful. Here's a special spotlight of our Tribe at Bay Area Underpinning where they assisted with not one, but three home builds! #GroundworksProud #Goodworks #HabitatForHumanity #BuildTogether

Understanding that here in Detroit this is the time period of the demolishing and demolition of the old in preparation for the last 7 to 5 years of the reconstruct of Detroit to be “dubbed” *New Detroit* which objective appears to be a Non-Black Majority Detroit, I would be remiss not to mention that I’m hip to the supposedly 30 year plan to achieve this nefarious goal. By My estimation & informed opinion WE should be in year 20, 21 or 22 of this “so called” 30 Year Plan.. #DCU #DetroitCitizensUnion “Established To Combat The Detroit City” 👇🏿 #BlackfaceBullshytPoliticalFigures ..Rhuben X

Community Land Trusts (CLTs) offer many advantages for community development and housing stability. By separating land ownership from property ownership, CLTs help ensure long-term affordability. This makes housing accessible for low and moderate-income families. Also, this model supports community control and engagement. Residents have a direct say in land use and development decisions, which enhances the responsiveness of housing solutions to community needs. CLTs also contribute to the preservation of open spaces and environmental sustainability. The land is protected from speculative development. Additionally, they help stabilize neighborhoods. CLTs reduce the impact of market volatility and gentrification. This fosters economic resilience and strengthens local communities. This approach not only benefits current residents but also creates a lasting legacy of affordable housing and community stewardship. For a deeper dive into the research and impacts of CLTs, keep reading here: https://lnkd.in/dbD3JTPB #CommunityLandTrusts #AffordableHousing #SustainableDevelopment #CommunityEmpowerment

I don't want a home built for me, I want to afford one. Huge difference here. I'm not a charity case.
